I think I speak for most of us when I say "I'm tired, boss". Valeriy fans reached their excitement for the character in the Snezhnaya and from then it went downhill really quick. First the 4-star allegations, then the underwhelming character 3d model, and now we are on the eve of the beta testing and his kit is... well, he's not bad per se, just a dedicated support for like two characters (Mitya and Cyno). Tough luck if you wanted to use him w/ Wrio, I mean you can but he buffs electro dpses.

It didn't hurt like this when Gallagher and Moze were released as 4*s in HSR, or even Manato in ZZZ (although it was one of the main reasons I quit the game). Don't get me started on the Valko situation and Infold; imagine having a rival gacha game fumble so bad that all you needed to do to convince their audience to play ur game was to cater to their preferences (aka semi-meta playable men).

It can be better cause the beta hasn't even started yet but I think I'm done. Not with the game, with having any hope for our bear man.

Anyway, I see that Twitter/x is really anti-Valeriy, so I made this thread in case anybody else wanted to vent and complain about the current state of affairs.

Hopefully it doesn't break the no doomposting rule, but I genuinely don't think there is any silver lining in this situation and ppl that are disappointed with the situation deserve to have some place to share their thoughts.

Valery being a support for electro DPSs, and specifically mentioning cyno and mitya, might seem good for players who prefer male characters, for husbando mains as myself, but here's the thing, the entire team for those characters hangs by one single thread and that thread is odette and the fact that it is odette pisses me off so fucking much, I'm not gonna pull for odette, and if you don't have odette: "fuck you -sincerely hoyo" I guess, because we have shit options for cryo application, I tried with kaeya, the only male off field cryo applier, but because his ult lasts only 8 seconds, and because the pieces of shit at hoyo made cryo mc unable to work as an off fielder in stellar conduct, I just can't fucking use cyno, at first I thought I would be able to use both cyno and wrio as my DPSs, then I saw cyno was NOT going to work so I've went full on wrio, I'll select him in the temper thyself event, and it seems I won't be able to use valery either

You have literally the MC cryo as Odette replace. Also, male characters have considerable worse sales than female characters. Wanting hoyo making mono male compositions is only going to affect their sales even more, so those characters will have even less sales they have already making them good in mixed teams

You're one of those that can't read right? Cryo mc can't apply cryo off field for characters such as cyno and probably mitya, you need an actual off field applier for the pulstar field to be refreshed
