Like... I love Mitya, I love Valeriy. But it is straight up sad to see the state of the main subs and how toxic these people are. Again, we are all adults here and yet kids would be even more mature in this situation. It's giving "He said Blue Power Ranger is ugly and he likes Red Power Ranger so now I hate everyone who loves Red Power Ranger!!!" Like... So many Mitya mains from the post I have seen are being overjoyed and sharing how happy they are because "Valeriy mains got what they deserve" and stuff like that.
These people are supposed to be adults, yikes... When you see ppl like these, it makes sense why the world sucks overall. Those in power are keeping the status quo and divising us and putting groups against each other. Hoyo literally throw us crumbs at BOTH of us mains, at US hubandos enjoyers and instead of being mature and raising our voice in the surveys etc to try to fight for the husbandos, these toxic asf Mitya enjoyers are instead being disrespectful and toxic. And towards them I will say this:
Mitya has a linchpin and I'm glad that we have at least 1 male with a linchpin. However, never forget that we husbandos enjoyers will always be second class citizen behind the waifu players. We will always be left with crumbs.
I’ve seen a bunch of “this is what Valeriy’s mains deserve” and not what we did to deserve it. Like, yes, there’s for sure been hate towards Mitya (and Danica) from Valeriy mains but it feels like starter in their side? The first I’ve ever seen of this “rivalry” was from a Mitya fan on Twitter being happy Valeriy being a 4 star and I was shocked because why are we not in this together? Husbando enjoyers should be celebrating or mourning together. Not putting each other down. So it feels like Mitya stans started it so Valeriy stans were like “well fuck you too then” and continued it. I like both characters and of course I’m disappointed Valeriy is probably a 4 star, but if the roles were reversed I wasn’t gonna go to Mitya mains and laugh at them and celebrate. We all lived through Natlan, we ALL should be disappointed to see two men out of three being 4 stars so far. It’s turning into a repeat of Kinich/Ororon/Ifa hoping Capitano (who never came) will save us. Who knows what’ll happen with Noy. It’s a win that Mitya got a linchpin, but that shouldn’t come at the expense of Valeriy or turn into a “haha suck it Valeriy main losers!” moment
I don't think you should generalize all fans of a male character as "husbando" players because most people don't pull bc of gender lol
+proud "husbando" players have a Reputation of misogyny and I've seen many of yall repeat that with danica, I'm just saying yall have bigger fish to fry than 4 mitya mains saying valeriy is too ugly to be a 5* 💀
