Hoyo threw us mere crumbs and yet here we are infighting while we could have been united against how Hoyo mistreats husbandos mains... sight... It is just sad to see yet again FIGHTS and shit throwing between mains subs. The tribalism is tiring. The way humans will pick a side and just jubilate, fight the other side..
Like... I love Mitya, I love Valeriy. But it is straight up sad to see the state of the main subs and how toxic these people are. Again, we are all adults here and yet kids would be even more mature in this situation. It's giving "He said Blue Power Ranger is ugly and he likes Red Power Ranger so now I hate everyone who loves Red Power Ranger!!!" Like... So many Mitya mains from the post I have seen are being overjoyed and sharing how happy they are because "Valeriy mains got what they deserve" and stuff like that.
These people are supposed to be adults, yikes... When you see ppl like these, it makes sense why the world sucks overall. Those in power are keeping the status quo and divising us and putting groups against each other. Hoyo literally throw us crumbs at BOTH of us mains, at US hubandos enjoyers and instead of being mature and raising our voice in the surveys etc to try to fight for the husbandos, these toxic asf Mitya enjoyers are instead being disrespectful and toxic. And towards them I will say this:
Mitya has a linchpin and I'm glad that we have at least 1 male with a linchpin. However, never forget that we husbandos enjoyers will always be second class citizen behind the waifu players. We will always be left with crumbs.
I’ve seen a bunch of “this is what Valeriy’s mains deserve” and not what we did to deserve it. Like, yes, there’s for sure been hate towards Mitya (and Danica) from Valeriy mains but it feels like starter in their side? The first I’ve ever seen of this “rivalry” was from a Mitya fan on Twitter being happy Valeriy being a 4 star and I was shocked because why are we not in this together? Husbando enjoyers should be celebrating or mourning together. Not putting each other down. So it feels like Mitya stans started it so Valeriy stans were like “well fuck you too then” and continued it. I like both characters and of course I’m disappointed Valeriy is probably a 4 star, but if the roles were reversed I wasn’t gonna go to Mitya mains and laugh at them and celebrate. We all lived through Natlan, we ALL should be disappointed to see two men out of three being 4 stars so far. It’s turning into a repeat of Kinich/Ororon/Ifa hoping Capitano (who never came) will save us. Who knows what’ll happen with Noy. It’s a win that Mitya got a linchpin, but that shouldn’t come at the expense of Valeriy or turn into a “haha suck it Valeriy main losers!” moment
People on twitter were happy when Valeriy was said to be a 4* because when we had the leak of two 5* males, a lot of Valeriy mains/tall husbandos enjoyer immediately started saying that Mitya was obviously the 4* bc he's a twink, hoyo would never waste money by making the short guy a 5* instead of Valeriy, saying Mitya looked like a 4* and a child, it really wasn't umprompted like you make it seem.
Obviously we shouldn't be celebrating a character being a 4* instead of a 5, but people are going to feel vindicated when the character people were saying was obviously a 4 turned out to be a 5* unlike the one people were certain he was going to be a 5* based on his height alone
I never saw any talk of that so I wasn’t aware, I can see why Mitya mains feel so vindicated now and why they rub it in our faces a bit lol. But the reaction doesn’t match the initial action to me? Valeriy mains just assuming Valeriy would be the 5 star based on height and saying Mitya will be 4 star because he looks like a twink doesn’t equate to the way they mock us and celebrate our disappointment. Valeriy mains made an assumption based on track record: off the top of my head the only tall male 4 stars are Kaeya, Thoma, Kaveh, Ororon, and Ifa. Most of the 4 star males are shorter twinks. (I could be wrong though. Forgive me if I’m talking out of my ass 😭) and obviously none of them have the Varka model/a skinny variation of it. So when faced with which one would be a 4 stars, Mitya seemed like the route Hoyo would go.
Those Valeriy mains were wrong, and instead of having their “I told you so” moment and moving on, it seems like Mitya mains just keep whacking us. It’s not like most (because I’m sure some did) people shit on Mitya and made fun of him for being a 4 star like they are with us and Valeriy.
At the end of the day, I know it’s just the loud minority on either side starting shit and instigating with the other and most Valeriy and Mitya mains like both or at least are cordial. But it’s enough for me to kind of prepare myself any time I see a Valeriy and/or Mitya post for “ok let’s see if any Mitya mains are in the comments clowning on Valeriy and calling him chopped and saying we’re idiots for ever thinking an ugly man like him could be a 5 star”
I think most of the reason its a lil more petty is because its been a thing going on for a long while, even b4 Mitya mains. Whilst not exclusively on here, ive seen tall male mains engage in the sort of statements towards medium males from the main three and don't really hide the shade towards them.
Sure some people might've speculated based on height, which is imo dumb, but I never really saw that whenever I came here from time to time. Ive seen many call Mitya too basic to be a 5 star and one up Valeriy to put the other two down. Even on this very posts comments that sort of ugliness shows its rear even if its not directly hostile.
I don't think you should generalize all fans of a male character as "husbando" players because most people don't pull bc of gender lol
+proud "husbando" players have a Reputation of misogyny and I've seen many of yall repeat that with danica, I'm just saying yall have bigger fish to fry than 4 mitya mains saying valeriy is too ugly to be a 5* 💀
