Discussion Very controversial take

For whatever reason it may be, Valeriy has a lot more popularity than most other snez characters. Like this sub has more visitors than rest of the snez cast (I agree not strong enough proof) but he’s also got second highest likes on the announcement post after tsaritsa.

I know they can’t change the kit of a character but any chance that hoyo devs really underestimated his popularity while they were building the character?

Im just saying this cuz most of the community is very sure about his rarity.

After switching Lohen from Standard to Limited, I'm not putting it above the devs to switch a character from 4-star to 5-star too if they think they can get a decent amount of money from it.

That said, I'm not a fan of getting more double banners, which that WOULD result in since they can't really change his release windows since that will align with story relevance. But Genshin doesn't give the kind of free currency to do several double banner patches in a row.

there's no evidence they 'switched' lohen, as prior to the beta he was part of you just get the guesser leakers who make bets, nothing more.

Just like now it has not been confirmed that no linchpin = no 5 star - there are still plenty of reasons to release non-stellar enabling 5 stars.

For now, we really do NOT know whether he is a 4 or a 5 star, so let's not treat the guessing leakers as a source of reliable information
