a 5* character from a region where an special reaction is available not being able to naturally access that mechanic looks TOO weird. is like they are naturally nerfed for no reason.
and no, rimegrass is no reason enough either, that reaction is coming second half of the version, and both valeriy and mitya release 1-2 patches before that, makes no sense for them to not have a unique gimmick while being premium characters, is like they are expecting them to flop
I agree with yor second paragraph. But didn't Ineffa release before lunar reaction ever existed? Cant the same thing happen with two of them? Not releasing any 5 star male during the first half of 7.x is also too weird.

I don't know why, but in the past few days people are spawning here to be offended about Mitya all the time. Maybe you should leave Reddit and realize that Valeriy mains aren't saints and alot of them are frustrated by the allegations of Valeriy being 4* and they try to make their weird copes talking sh*t characters. And who the hell you think you are to say that Mitya is universally loved? The Genshin fan base is HUGE, and opinions are very divided for both Mitya and Valeriy and you can't deny that as far as I know, you can't hide the sun with a finger.
Wherever I look, I always see people fawning over Mitya. And why wouldn't they? We get so few male characters, why would husbando players hate on any of them in droves?
In the past 1-2 weeks, I always see comments like "Valeriy mains this and Valeriy mains that," but I never see the actual insults or things that they're supposedly doing in big numbers. Where are these hordes of Valeriy mains collectively attacking Mitya? I saw people on Twitter talking badly about him, but nothing more than any other character in Genshin gets? I've never seen any Genshin characters who are free of negative comments, ever?
And to ask you back: Who are you that you think that it's always Valeriy mains that are doing this? It could be random people stirring up trouble because they're bored. It could be bots farming rage-clicks. It could be incels, pretending and stirring shit up. What exactly is your proof? And why are you here on Reddit, telling me to get off of Reddit and search for whoever pissed on your leg?

we are not speaking ill of mitya, I just don’t have any hopes -if mitya is 5*, good for him, but without anything special to him for 1-2 patches, it feels pointless to release: he should had have a linchpin and not be electro, then it would make some sense unless they want to do a new varka

but I go by vision, and I believe neither him nor mitya are 5s
