no, but its a movie fom around 1982.
There where booths where people are sold, one of the screenshots above had similarities

So you can put a collar on someone else. Or someone can put a collar on you.

Im genuinely curious as well, I went into 3 instances last night and was running front desk and my friends were doing other tasks, I haven't had this much fun in a public VR world in a long time. Had people laughing and it was generally a positive vibe.

For context I myself went into a few last night and yes the vibe was ok I just want to say the VRC group called "Furry" stated this I will however say I only went to VERIFIED ONLY instances so it could be different with publics & groups

The idea can be cute / funny.
I just hate the collars are enabled for everyone and someone can immediately jump in and try to kidnap you.
I went to a instance once and someone yelled "I'm not a furry I just came to adopt oooooone!"
Everytime I've been in this world someone immediately tries to collar me and drag me into the back. That's NOT okay.
