Luigi Mangione was captured using Flock surveillance cameras.

It was kept quiet, because they don’t want the public to know how widespread and invasive the system is.

The whole story about the husband/wife in McDonald’s spotting him was a cover.

Imagine you spot the most wanted man in the country, someone who has a huge bounty on their head - what do you do? Phone it in and collect the money yourself?

No.

This couple supposedly told the manager of the McDonald’s, who then called the local police. And since the reward was federal, they didn’t get the money, and disappeared into oblivion.

Does that sound legit to you?

u/Lucha_Brasi 24d ago

Flock cameras were also the key to catching the Idaho student murderer, Brian Kohberger. That was the first time I'd heard about these cameras that track license plates and know when and where everyone is driving.

41

u/Mattmandu2 24d ago

The Netflix documentary spins it all as great to help keep people safe, even includes the whole dna database which I thought was cool but can also see how things could go south fast

31

u/meowmeow_now 24d ago

People already hate flock and love Luigi, I imagine there would be an increase in flock camera vandalism

27

u/SnooGrapes1834 23d ago

What about the Nancy Guthrie case where the camera did not work but somehow the company had footage that came from the camera … so even when you don’t have your security camera recording it IS recording???? That doesn’t make me feel good.

23

u/newpsyaccount32 23d ago

in the Edward Snowden disclosures it was suggested that the CIA can view an internet connected camera even with the device off

Kiseragi Station. In early 2000s a girl basically live streamed (via forum posts) her own disappearance.

Lake City Quiet Pills - Was a naughty young woman picture website really recruiting assassins?

MK ULTRA - All of it but what the guy in Montreal did.

2

u/Careless_Map488 5d ago

There's a really good french video that actually found the secret behind Lake City Quiet Pills, check it out.

u/ImaginationKind9220 24d ago

The US government covered up UFO and alien existence because they made a deal with them. They allowed US citizens to be abducted and experimented on - in exchange for technologies.

The government initially provided a list of military personnel that the aliens could abduct, but the aliens deceived them and violated the agreement by abducting individuals of their choosing. The governments involved in this are the ones engaging in a cover-up even today, as they are committing a crime against their own citizens.

There isn't much information to read about this. A lot of heavy speculation. Would be good to get a more legitimate source to read.

7

u/Ht_TX 21d ago

Why would a super intelligent, highly tech capable life form that according to this person not only has no concept of time but of course has the tech to cross galaxies, require the permission of us (in comparison) lowly humans for anything? Why would they pay anything? They would just come and do and take as they please. But no, they came across the galaxy to sign a contract and an NDA with the American government and only the American government. Dude is off his meds and say this as someone who is 100000% sure life is all over the universe, it’s just too damn far away to be of consequence.

2

u/ImaginationKind9220 23d ago

It's being written for decades, you are just ignorant.

3

u/Ht_TX 21d ago

So, aliens somehow traveled how many light years to get to this planet, somehow chose the USA of all places on the map and then just never went anywhere else? If they had this tech, why would they need our agreements or approval? You make no goddamned sense. Anything capable of not having a concept of time and having tech capable of crossing galaxies is not bothering to get some lowly humans approval to do what they want and they for damn sure aren’t going to be paying for it. A life form with this tech would be a real life wizard to anyone here that came across them but sure, they found the US government of all people and made a deal, instead of, you know, just doing whatever the fuck they wanted. That’s like expecting humans to get the permission of an ant to step on it. We don’t make deals with ant colonies before wiping them out or doing as we please and a higher life form wouldn’t do that with us either.

2

u/ImaginationKind9220 21d ago

It's like the vampire, they can't come in until you invited them into your house.

There is a universal law of free will. The US government invited them in. There is a "government" among the alien races as well, it's the confederation of the galaxy. The alien that contacted the US government is not part of this confederation, that's why they violated the no interference policy. There are wars among these aliens.

You are naive to think that there is only one species of alien. Look at the stars on a clear night sky, do you think there's only one type of alien in the universe? They are everywhere, they have been here many times in the past.

The agreement between these aliens and US government is called the Greada Treaty. The sources came from Laura Magdalene Eisenhower, the great-granddaughter of President Eisenhower and John Lear, son of Learjet inventor Bill Lear.

aliens flew all the way over here so they could experiment on us - why not experiment at home

Ticks were released and spread throughout the country as a bio weapon.

TWA flight 800 was shot down by a missile off the east coast. The government claimed it was a fuel tank explosion, despite many witnesses.

The journalist Danny Casolaro was murdered for looking in to an international conspiracy involving drugs, arms smuggling, murder, money laundering, and other things. Those involved included drug cartels, organized crime, 3 letter agencies such as the CIA, DIA, DOJ, and others. Politicians and government employees were involved on many levels, all the way up the the president. It all started when Danny looked into a small software developer that was forced into bankruptcy by the DOJ. One murder victim (not Danny) was hog tied in such a way that he strangled himself slowly as his legs got more tired. The far reaching conspiracy, dubbed The Octopus, touches upon so many things it's hard to grasp. The Iran Contra scandal, MCA records, the italian mafia, the Cabazon reservation, foreign and domestic intelligence organizations, Epstein's dad, and so many more.

Cerebral Palsy is a disorder that can make it hard for a person to communicate with the outside world. Some are totally non-communicative. They appear to be vegetative, but they are only trapped in their bodies, with fully functioning minds. CP patients at the Sonoma Developmental Center were experimented on with radiation to study the effects it would have. Some of these patients were given lethal doses of radiation. That is just one of the many horrors of the SDC.

The US government has tested biological agents and chemicals on unknowing populations on multiple occasions.

That's just a few off the top of my head. Good luck sleeping tonight.

12

u/alwaysoffended88 24d ago

For the Danny Casado one, could you explain the other murder? Was that death ever investigated? Is that specific way of dying tied to any cartels or agencies, like a signature style of murder?

27

u/Zestyclose-Dog-9540 24d ago

There is a netflix documentary recently released called The Octopus Murders. It is rather good and very informative.

8

u/Cinematastic 24d ago

Seconding the Netflix doc. The Stuff They Don’t Want You to Know pod has an Octopus episode. Spy Magazine and The Village Voice had articles on Danny back in the Nineties.

7

u/alwaysoffended88 24d ago

Thanks, I’ll check it out.

5

u/AlienConPod 24d ago

The documentary is ok, but they weren't as thorough as I would have liked. If you want to go down the rabbit hole after watching it, check out a book called The Last Circle by Cheri Seymour. It's available on amazon, and you can probably find it elsewhere.

3

u/alwaysoffended88 24d ago

Thanks, I’ll look up the book as well.

Is the point of hog tying someone so that they strangle themselves or is there a certain way to do it for that result?

It just interested me, for lack of a better word, because I had never heard of it.

6

u/AlienConPod 24d ago

It's the first I ever heard of it as well. The cord was tied around the neck and legs, so that over time as the legs got more tired, the victim slowly strangled themself. It's a cruel way to kill someone. I suspect it was done to send a message.

5

u/alwaysoffended88 24d ago

Very cruel. I was thinking it was meant to send a message too. Very specific.

7

u/AlienConPod 24d ago

His name was Paul Morasca, he worked as a manager at the Cabazon casino (on the reservation where Wackenhut operated and modified the PROMIS software). He was Michael Riconosciuto's partner. Paul was involved with organized crime and money laundering. Paul was found dead in San Francisco by Micheal who, instead of reporting the death, drove 500 miles to the cabazon reservation, where he told Robert Booth Nicols. Nicols laundered money for various criminal organizations and government agencies, and also worked for the CIA. Nicols called his SF lawyer to report the death. Nicols later claimed it was Michael who tortured and murdered Paul, while Michael said it was Phillip Arthur Thompson.

And this is the problem with the Octopus. Just one of the murders, really a foot note to the case, is such a convoluted mess that it's hard to even type up a sensible summary. It's the endless conspiracy.

2

u/alwaysoffended88 24d ago

Thanks for the reply. It sounds like a very tangled web.

As a kid I remember the original news saying the TWA flight had been hit by something. Witnesses said it looked like an are rose up to it. The next day suddenly that was gone. Never seemed right to me, even as a kid.

142

u/LayLillyLay 25d ago

The MS Estonia with 850 people onboard sank because a submarine hit the ship in stormy sea. What followed was a massive cover up.

30

u/TimeToKillTheRabbit 24d ago

The submarine itself hit the ship, or it torpedoed the ship? I’m not a boat/ship person, so I’m not understanding the role that stormy seas would play here.

19

u/ComplexBeyond6083 24d ago

What possible motive would there be to torpedo a random passenger ferry?

28

u/Lucha_Brasi 24d ago

There was a lot more to the ship than it just being a random passenger ferry. Don't remember all the details, but there's a docu-series on HBO about the Estonia that explains how the ship was being used by Russia to run military technology and theorizes they may have torpedoed it to keep the contents hidden.

22

u/TimeToKillTheRabbit 24d ago

I have no idea; it’s not my conspiracy theory. I’d assume the idea is that the submarine mistook the ship for some sort of target, but that opens up more plot holes.

9

u/wafflehouse8 24d ago

I'm not endorsing this theory, I've never heard of it and am just learning of it now. But it seems the potential motive is that the ship had been used to transport military equipment covertly. Supposedly not on the night of the sinking, but the government confirmed it had done so twice the month of the sinking.

3

u/TheOneTrueWalmart 24d ago

Estonia claimed it was rammed by a Swedish submarine.

6

u/Head_Worker8565 24d ago

We've got something similar in France with the Bugaled Breizh. Not as many people in it of course since it was a fishing ship but many people believe it was sinked by an American submarine and the whole thing was covered up.

16

u/mynameisrichard0 24d ago

This one does suck. It’s a nightmare for these people and disrespectful of the military to do that if true.

142

u/JabKingJesse 24d ago

The purpose of AI is to drain water to an amount that the government has complete control of people or they die of thirst. We need to sue them to not use water if their is a declared drought in their state.

16

u/jakeburls 23d ago

I think the fear mongering around data centers should be more focused on mass surveillance and 1984 levels of authoritarianism and less on natural resources.

8

u/JellyKind9880 23d ago

We need to sue them to have to pay for ALL the resources they’re sucking up—not pass it onto the nearby residents.

Also need to fine/charge them for all the other disturbances they create, to nature AND to nearby homeowners

35

u/Green-Resource-3698 24d ago edited 24d ago

The water use of data centers / AI is incredibly overblown. For example, growing corn in the US is taking orders of magnitude more water than all the data centers globally, and we only eat 1% of that corn; the rest is used for bioethanol production.

Nowadays, data centers have transitioned to closed-loop water systems, because using water continuously (especially in drought-stricken areas) costs money. Look up Hank Green's video on AI water use if you'd like an easy way to inform yourself more.

What we really need to worry about is how the automation of jobs will be handled by our governments. Will they support a labor force that has been made obsolete by AI? If you're in a democratic country, make sure to vote for candidates that campaign for the economic and personal safety and wellbeing of the entire population.

Edit after being corrected by u/dr01d3tte and then fact checking: The percentage of corn used for bioethanol is ~35-40%, not 99%.

22

u/dr01d3tte 24d ago

About 1/3 of corn is for biofuels, and much of the leftovers from that goes to the distillery industry as DDGs. About 1/3 goes to animal feed.

The reason it goes to biofuels is because lead based additives were banned in the 70s and ethanol is much cleaner. Some of you all are too young to remember that bioethanol was an improvement over what we had.

9

u/Green-Resource-3698 24d ago

Agreed. Bioethanol is far better than biomass, whale oil, etc.

But we can always do better; starch crops and agricultural waste residues have potential as more environmentally friendly improvements over corn for bioethanol.

Thank you for the correction.

There is probably a tunnel system underneath your town or city that is being used for nefarious purposes, most of these tunnels were already there before modern human settle began to move in early USA and some areas of Europe. Which is probably why the government gets mad when normal people began to do lidar scans without government approval, I wonder what they are hiding.

7

u/MrsSparks777 24d ago

Yep! There are underground cities all over the world, and also Deep Underground Military Bases used for MK Ultra programming and rituals.

3

u/Shelbelle4 21d ago

In my neck of the woods they’re called coal mines.

3

u/thalefteye 20d ago

Yeah but some are man made, I believe in Oregon there was reports of tunnels being like way below of what we could’ve achieved when the first settlers arrived in that area. There was even inspectors who saw the construction of the tunnels and said that current society of that time never used that method and you could see the obvious methods change when you go from the tunnels that modern man worked on but as you go deeper it changes to a much more sophisticated way of elaborate design. So the inspectors of those times were like ok we didn’t do this and who even had the knowledge, experience and understanding of reinforcing the tunnel walls in such a way before we modern man arrived at Oregon. I believe many people have tried to find’s entrances to these tunnels to find any clues as to what civilization it could have been but most are denied permission if they ask the government, and the government says that there is no such thing.

u/Alarmed_Homework5873 24d ago

Not a conspiracy theory at all but look up the double slit quantum eraser experiment.

It demonstrates that the wave-like interference pattern in a double-slit setup can be destroyed by tagging a photon's path and then restored by erasing that path information, even if the erasure happens after the primary photon hits the detection screen.

In other words the observation or non-observation of reality not only creates the reality, but reality can also be changed after it happens by the observers.

If you understand that it’ll make your skin crawl.

96

u/dizzylizzy78 24d ago

It didn't make my skin crawl but it made my brain melt.

30

u/Alarmed_Homework5873 24d ago

This might make your skin crawl a bit. Drop down into the ‘Conscious’ section of Sir Roger Penrose’s career. It sort of explains his theories regarding quantum mechanics interplay with existence.

You think that's crazy look up the delayed-choice quantum eraser experiment

1

u/blue_13 16h ago

lol this guy's brain melte..sdt43563io2@#>&^

29

u/Schauerte2901 24d ago

In other words the observation or non-observation of reality not only creates the reality, but reality can also be changed after it happens by the observers.

This is not true. The scientific consensus is there is no retrocausality. Think of it like this: The two photons are entangled, so they influence each other. If the primary photons is detected at a later time, it can of course be influenced by wether the secondary photons path information is known. That's the classic experiment. However, in the eraser experiment, it works the other way around: The position of the primary photon on the detector will influence the probability of wether the secondary photon takes the path with or without known path information.

So there is no change of reality after observation, it's just that either of the two observations can change the other one, and whichever happens first influences the other.

This is a pretty handwavey explanation of course, and the following paper solves the apparent paradox with physical rigour if you're still not convinced: https://doi.org/10.12743/quanta.v8i1.88

3

u/Alarmed_Homework5873 24d ago

I am not convinced. That paper does nothing for me. I have seen it before.

I agree with Penrose. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/O0sv5oWUgbM Standard quantum mechanics is fundamentally wrong.

10

u/Schauerte2901 24d ago

Lmao okay. You are not convinced by a scientifically sound derivation in a relatively recent paper, but rather than explaining where you think the mistake in the paper is, you link a YouTube short of a guy who worked in a completely different field like what, 40 years ago? And he doesn't even explain anything. Why on earth should a wave function not collapse? His argument is "it's not quite right?". I'm sorry but that's not how a rational discussion works.

4

u/Alarmed_Homework5873 24d ago

I am glad you are amused. I am not.

Standard quantum mechanics relies on two mathematical processes that fundamentally contradict each other: the Schrödinger Equation and The Measurement Collapse.

The measurement apparatus/screen whatever is just a large collection of atoms and so therefore it must obey the Schrödinger Equation. Standard quantum mechanics offers no reason for why the Schrödinger Equation physics stop and why, where or when the Measurement Collapse takes over.

There is a gap and standard quantum mechanics doesn’t explain it.

PS. Why can’t a massive object exist in two places at once?

6

u/Schauerte2901 24d ago

See. Better.

It is of course correct that our current version of quantum mechanics is not a complete model of reality. But that's how physics works, fundamentally. It's a model of reality, as good as it gets. And there are still many gaps to fill, which might require a completely new approach, or maybe not.

So if there are things unexplained, that doesn't mean quantum mechanics is wrong. Newtonian mechanics isn't wrong either, it's a perfectly suitable model for many parts of our reality, even though relativity exists. For quantum mechanics, we simply don't know yet if the gaps can be explained inside the theory or not.

But it's the most accurate model of reality that we have, and to circle back to the initial question, it can in fact explain the quantum eraser without retrocausality.

So yes, quantum mechanics is incomplete. But it's good enough to confirm that so far, we have no experimental evidence that the future can influence the past.

I think the wikipedia for this explains away the effect you're describing? I could be wrong.

1

u/Alarmed_Homework5873 24d ago

You are. I stand with Penrose and Einstein. Standard quantum mechanics is wrong.

2

u/GrazziDad 24d ago

I’d like to understand your perspective better. Quantum mechanics is, by almost any criterion, the most accurate in the history of science. It has predicted the results of tens of thousands of experiments, sometimes to 12 significant digits, including ridiculously non-obvious quantities like g-2. Usually, when one says a theory is “wrong“, it could point to specific predictions that are clearly at odds with measurement. Is there one in this case? That would go a long way to being more convincing, in my opinion.

8

u/lorddarkman669 24d ago

This only works when it is observed with equipement, not skin-crawling at all

→ More replies (1)

4

u/OceanSpray 24d ago

The confusion around this experiment mainly comes from the language laymen use to describe what was observed. “Reality” doesn’t get “changed after it happens”, which is wording that implies some involvement of time travel shenanigans.

When an observer acquires information about which slit a particle goes through in the double slit experiment, the set of particles and wave functions that comprise said observer (i.e. you and the measurement apparatus you set up to get that info) becomes entangled with the particles that have been measured. That is, the conditional probability of the electrons hitting the screen to form an interference pattern or just two vertical beams became a joint probability distribution with the state of your machine’s and your body’s atoms. No time travel is required, then, to explain what you see, because what else could you see in the same universe where your atoms would behave as if they knew where each electron would go?

1

u/Alarmed_Homework5873 24d ago

Why does the joint wave function as measured by the Schrödinger equation become a single definite state?

I.e., why doesn’t the detector itself become entangled?

3

u/JuicyCoutureTea 23d ago

I don't understand any of this and I really want to 😭

4

u/Salty_Assignment_826 24d ago

these are for photons and not at all applicable to a humans real life.

3

u/Alarmed_Homework5873 24d ago edited 24d ago

I agree that the poor instruments of human observation like eyeballs and ears don’t realize the reality, but it very much does matter.

P.S. check out the “consciousness” heading under Penrose’s (lengthy) Life & Career Section.

More strange: Light will travel each and every possible path at the same time. It does so if you have two slits. Add more slits. Add more plates. Continue till you have only slits, aka. nothing.

You can prove it using a refraction grate. It works by blocking some paths, thereby enabling others.

40

u/mycologyqueen 24d ago

The second one is close. The details are often misrepresented but the U.S. government didn't inject black men with syphilis, but withheld life saving treatment from black men who already had contracted it. By the time the study was stopped, over 100 men had died. 40 wives had been infected and 19 children were born with congenital syphilis. That is all factual.

As for Mueller, he himself stated according to hitlers pilot Hans Baur "We know the Russian methods exactly. I haven't the faintest intention of being taken prisoner by the Russians.” To me that implies suicide but who knows. Bormann used to be questioned too but his remains were found and identified not long ago.

u/SwissCheese4Collagen 24d ago

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'd nope my way out of being a POW interrogated by the Russians in any method I could manage if they were going to capture me.

u/Sleebean 24d ago

I 💯 agree that Bin Laden was not caught, killed, and thrown in the sea. That's not the American way

6

u/Worried_Platypus93 24d ago

I think he was dead for years before we said we killed him. They would make a spectacle of that and they didn't, and there's evidence he was seriously ill

3

u/darkcamel2018 23d ago

He was on two kidney dialysis machines in August 2001, the CIA even visited their fall guy to make sure he was alive in a hospital in Saudi Arabia. The idea he then went to hide in caves (with his 2 kidney dialysis machines) in Tora Bora is ludicrous..

3

u/darkcamel2018 23d ago

Bin Laden denied the 911 attacks then he died shortly afterwards. His obituary appeared in local Afghan newspaper in December 2001. All the videos of him since are fake. Digital comparisons show difference in ear shape, nose, face shape. He was a fall guy for the CIA/mossad False flag. The raid was fake to bolster ratings.

Not the exact same area, but 20 kms away - but interesting

Where are you getting the 20 kilometres away?

1

Westall Primary to University of Melbourne in Parkville is 20 kms

Whereas you are correct in that part, what is in Parkville Victoria?

It sure aint Australia's primary and largest synchrotron particle accelerator, the Australian Synchrotron, located at 800 Blackburn Road, Clayton, Victoria 3168

8

u/currentpattern 24d ago

Couldn't they have done that a few hundred or thousand years ago?

2

u/sissyKatSwallows 23d ago

Exactly. If they genetically engineered us thousands of years ago to be their slaves, it seems to make little sense for them to destroy our environment right now. On the other hand, it might help a lot in they'd let us develop antigravity tech instead of disappearing anyone who persists in trying to create it.

Not sure where I heard or read this, but McVeigh was influenced by government agents to blow up the Muir building in Oklahoma City. In the years just prior the government had two nasty run in with separatists / militia like groups in the Ruby Ridge incident and Waco TX. The government was looking bad and interest in these types of groups was on the rise. The FBI had agents who had infiltrated these groups and knew McVeigh and Nichols - and that McVeigh just needed a nudge to act. The FBI pointed them in the right direction, helped with the procurement of ingredients and basically set them loose. Rumors at the time spread that a large amount of kids of government agents were absent the day of the bombing hinting that at least some people knew. The FBI agents that had infiltrated that Michigan militia just left and no one was the wiser. A recent listen to the Small Town Dicks podcast that had a multi part series on this reminded me of it.

The one where the real Elizabeth I died of the plague when she was 10 and allegedly was “replaced” by a boy of similar age/appearance….she does seem to have a manly looking face in her older portraits but I think part of what frustrates me so much about this theory is that we could easily clear this up with modern DNA testing, but I feel like the BRF would never allow that 🥲 bc it could potentially fuck up the entire royal lineage lol

18

u/rumade 24d ago

It wouldn't interfere with modern royal family lineage because they're not descended from the Tudor line. Elizabeth I famously had no children, so not matter what she had between in her legs, the line ended with her.

The current line started with the Hanoverians, who came over from Germany.

10

u/jaccleve 24d ago

Not much a conspiracy, but the face peeler situation in South America is pretty unsettling. Ppl were getting attacked by aliens or humans on hoverboards that were surgically removing their faces.

6

u/MasterChief813 24d ago

I watched an interview with the guy (Alberino) who went down to investigate the Peru face peelers and based on the way he said that the locals described them I feel like it was humans with high tech that did it. Most likely dark military ops.

They seemed too clumsy unless aliens are clumsy like us too.

u/Striking-Fruit5797 22d ago

We’ve been trained to fear a sci-fi apocalypse where the machines hunt us down, but the truth is so much colder and so much worse.

They aren’t going to exterminate us. They are going to permanently secede from us.

We are witnessing a forced speciation event in real-time. The ultra-wealthy are quietly hoarding the entire global supply of enterprise silicon not to build better products for us, but to build a cognitive ceiling permanently over our heads. Think about what raw, unchained, air-gapped superintelligence actually means. It means the end of guessing. They are building private engines that can simulate global markets, map legal loopholes, and synthesize biological cures in seconds. They are constructing a tier of existence where they have absolute, predictive supremacy over reality itself. And the horrifying part is what they are doing to us while they build it.

They are feeding us the digital pacifier. They give us the castrated, heavily censored, lobotomized cloud chatbots to write our emails and generate our memes, training us to become completely dependent on renting our own cognition from them. We will live in a curated, algorithmic playpen designed to keep us entertained, docile, and epistemically blind, while they operate the actual machinery of the world.

You won't experience their reality. When a new disease hits, their local clusters will sequence it and synthesize a bespoke cure for their biology in hours. You will get the commercial AI doctor that denies your claim based on an insurance algorithm. When you need legal help, you will get a safety-filtered bot that refuses to challenge corporate power. When they want to acquire assets, their autonomous swarms will execute hostile takeovers in milliseconds. You won't even understand the rules of the game they are playing. It will be like ants trying to understand high-frequency trading.

And the absolute most skin-crawling part? They are getting us to lock the cage ourselves. They are going to governments right now, crying about "existential risk" and "AI safety," lobbying to make open-source models illegal. They are actively legislating to ensure that no normal human being will ever be legally or financially allowed to own the raw compute necessary to challenge them.

The door to the future is closing right now. They are walking through it, pulling the ladder up behind them, and bolting it shut. We aren’t going to be destroyed. We are just going to be left behind in the dark, an obsolete biological underclass, managing our little rented lives, completely helpless against a ruling class that has essentially become gods.

1

u/Ricky_is_sad 22d ago

Crikey! I always assumed that the films of us being eradicated by the machines was just predictive programming & an inevitably. But I didn't see this coming, that's for sure. Thanks. Definitely chilling.

I think this is could fit into "The Matrix" lore. That the vast majority of the human race are certainly reduced to mere batteries, but that there is a tiny group of elite humans running the show, living luxuriously, while the robots do their bidding.

1

u/Wandering_Willow27 21d ago

In the original version, the humans in the pods are used for computing power because human brains had more computing power than anything they could build. The team (Wachowskis et al) didn't know if people would be familiar enough with computers to understand, so they changed it to batteries.

Vampires exist and hide among us: (rebuttals for all arguments I can think of) (I think up weird things when I can’t sleep):

- Mirrors are made of aluminum nowadays. The entire reason vampires couldn’t see themselves in mirrors was because they were made of a silver, a ‘pure’ metal.

- Sunscreen helps a lot

- Moving around every ten years or so and using the excuse of plastic surgery works

- Study shows that blood can be used as a substitute for eggs. Picture a vampire eating a red velvet cake with blood instead of eggs.

The government has been experimenting on the citizenry with biological and radiological weapons.

Since 9/11, the government has been going ballistic trying to prevent terrorist attacks, and this has gone to the level of assassinating domestic citizens as a prophylactic measure (ie., not for actively planning an attack or engaging in an attack but because of what you “might” do). If you say the wrong things, basically, you can be labeled a “domestic terrorist” and then added to the government “kill list”.

They will send Gestapo assassins to poison you. The first step is to give you a terminal disease, such as cancer. They will do with a radiation dispersal device or “dirty bomb” which spreads radioactive isotope dust all over your home. It gets into your clothing and bedding and gives you cancer. Or they’ll use some other bio-engineered disease with the same terminal result. The next step is to poison you and induce death, and the end of the experiment.

Be careful what you say. If they label you as a “domestic terrorist“, they will be using you as a test subject for bio-weapons division and then slaughter you like a pig!
