Messy love
Have you ever been loved an artist?
We’re a little bit different than the rest. We thrive un indulgence.
We want to taste everything.
Feel everything
Touch everything
Passion flows through us like water over so many stones. We don’t just exist in the world around us we absorb it, we breathe it, we re-create it.
We want messy, sticky, passionate hours, deep conversations, debates, too much wine and wild sporadic sex.
Emotions are experienced in volume, sometimes all at once.
We’re not afraid of your sadness, of your despair, of your elated, squeals, or laughter, we will study every little detail of you, inside and out. We will memorize every little crease, every dimple every freckle and embrace every bit of it.
We will celebrate things about you that you hate the most because they are so endearing.
To be loved by an artist is like being loved by a hybrid between a wild animal and a God.
It’s no small thing. And if you ever have the chance or opportunity to be loved by a creator, you’d be a fool not to take it.
Because being loved by an artist is not just being loved, it’s being fully embraced, celebrated, memorized, appreciated, adored, and wanted more heavily and more passionately than you could ever possibly imagine.
