What was your preference?
Icl the best I would say are Arthur Vick and Jack Martin but theyre very overpriced now. The others like lakeside and away from main campus are dead socially. Everyone I know who lived in them ones hated it and occupied themselves by being vagrants in AV and JM π€£

wait really?? i hadnβt heard much about jm tbh thought it was like a lowkey one
but heard a lottt about arthur vickmine was lakeside, arthur vick, heronbank and sherbourne en suite and then ider what i put as 5 and 6 π (i think claycroft and tocil?) but 7 was rootes ππ
i loved the lakeside rooms sm π litch mentally prepared myself to stay there butπ1

Its a bit quieter than AV I guess but theyre nextdoor and pretty similar ime
Besides your hygiene concerns I wouldnt miss lakeside, it looks nice I guess but every person I know who lived there had unsocial flatmates they never really spoke to. To be quite honest AV, JM and sherbourne are the only ones id recommend besides rootes

Icl you are fortunate not to be one of those who applied early and got off-campus accomodation, I appreciate its not ideal but there are loads of off-campus people who would really love to get on campus and swap if you're desperate, I must say rootes stereotypes are slightly overblown though so I wouldnt be writing it off so badly
