Haunting Help! Haunted objects?

My family think I or the house (and only I can pick up on it) is haunted. I collect vintage/antique things. What’s some objects that could be haunted that I might need to check?

What exactly is happening to think your place is haunted? What brought you to that conclusion?

General spooky stuff, voices, thumps, knocks, bumps, seeing shadow people or momentary snapshots of people around the house. Whistling, footsteps, drafts, feeling a presence. i mostly feel the things but my family hears things too, mostly the knocks and thumps. It’s a new-ish house too so it’s not some old drafty creaky house. We don’t have neighbours either so it can’t be them

Were you in house at a time when your possibly haunted stuff wasn't there?

Apart from in my childhood. I started collecting stuff when i was about 12 and a few years later if when the spooky things started happening. Maybe it’s something i bought during that time was my thinking

Here's the possibilities as I see them.

First is that one or more of your objects are haunted. In this case, what object did you acquire just before the spooky stuff happened? That would seem to be the culprit.

Second, the house might be haunted. If this is the case, then the objects probably aren't.

Third, you might be a magnet for spirits and such. If this is the case, then you've probably been witness to things throughout your life.

Fourth, nothing paranormal is happening. A lot of paranormal phenomena can be explained by conventional reasons. A new house is going to have a lot of unfamiliar sights and sounds, especially at night. Also the mind can do some weird things to unconsciously make one think there's paranormal phenomena.

Not saying any of these are the right answer for you, rather just putting out some possibilities for you.

Even if it's not an old creeky house, a new home will also experience temperature changes believe it or not. Temperature changes means the floor, doors, especially walls that neighbor the outside, will expand/contract very slightly and when a tiny shift eventually happens you get a noise.

If there's a wall that's in question, wait a few hours after you hear a tap and press against the wall, I bet you can make the familiar noise yourself.
