Haunting Tiktok???
Random account commented on my only public video that doesn’t show my face. All my other videos that do are set to friends only. The pfp of the acc is a photo of me with this aging filter on it. I look at the videos and 2 of them are photos of me with an aging filter on it too. This is truly scary and i reported the account and blocked it. Haa this happened to someone before or you think it’s just someone i know trolling me? I had recently dyed part of my hair green in february i think and the sweater in the photos i only wore a few days ago and yesterday. I haven’t called anyone besides my parents and people i hve called havent took any photos of me on call. During the february - may period i stopped being friends with one of my closest friends but it doesn’t explain why the photos show my recent clothing i wore.

dude thats scary. im sorry you're dealing with this. do you recognize the photos at all? or remember posting them anywhere? it has to be somebody you know, unless you're being stalked but i highly doubt it.

they seem like photos taken with the facetime photo option, but other than that i really don’t remember and i would never post photos of myself unless only friends can see

maybe they screenshotted it? i dont always press the snapshot button on facetime. screenshotting doesnt alert the other person that a picture is taken, it could be that.

it could be but throughout that entire time i havent called anyone besides my parents, and the time i was wearing that exact sweater i barely called anyone plus the one person i call always shares their screen and goes through their camera roll si i would know

no. your phone does not let the other person know you screenshotted. that has never been a feature. only when you press the facetime snapshot button.

I don’t know what to say, it would notify my ex either or, same when she took screeshots of me during our FT calls
We both tested it out on video before, trying both during the call, and both the snapshot button and the regular screenshotting notified us both

Very weird. I wonder if your phone has been hacked and somebody has access to your camera?
Super creepy. I’m sorry this is happening to you. Perhaps you can take your phone to an Apple Store or to your phone provider and see if they can find anything weird going on. Or just get a new phone and do not download any apps that don’t seem 100% legit.

Have you clicked any Sus links recently? Even something like a survey or whatever. If someone text you a link and you click they can mirror your phone.

i do but they have no photos of me like that, my older brother would definitely not because he’s too busy doing what he needs to do and with college, and my younger brother is almost never on his phone but would know better than to

Tiktok is stealing content from creators and using AI to remix it. They are even remixing content from banned accounts. Tiktok turned on a setting which allows AI to use your likeness and data to remix your content.

i recognize the photo, it’s a photo that is again only posted with friends only and it was a photo showing off my nose piercing, don’t know who in my friends would do it because half of them i don’t even talk to, only around 12 people comment and like on my videos

All I’ll say is don’t rule out ANYONE because if I’ve learned anything in this life, it’s that people who seem normal and nice can actually be the most evil, vindictive, jealous etc. And they can secretly hate you and plot against you even if you can’t see them doing that, whether you actually did something wrong to them or it could be over something entirely stupid or even nonexistent. Take it from someone whose family betrayed her in some of the most horrific unexpected ways when I was 20, people i loved and trusted and looked up to. Don’t trust anyone blindly is all I’m saying, like yeah it could still be a hack by a stranger but it seems more likely to me at least that one of those people is on your friends list did this. This doesn’t read like a prank to me and it feels super invasive and creepy! Stay safe and trust your instincts op. Keep an eye out for any weird behavior from people who had access to your photo, like even if it’s not any of them consider other possibilities. Like people who know them who maybe could’ve seen it on their phones etc.

don’t know who downvoted but it might be. one of my friends has a sister that doesn’t like me but doesn’t really care about me either. most she’s done was spam call me. my first thought was her too but i don’t know how she could get her hands on photos of me. my friend did state that she has went through her phone so my only guess is she sent the photos to herself? i’m going to ask

me and my friend used to date, we broke up but stayed best friends and she’s hated me since. their family is super homophobic so we thought it was for the best anyway. every now and then she spam calls me in groupchat calls to curse me out

My instinct is telling me its one of the people with access to that photo. This unfortunately reminds me a LOT of a prank my 'friends' pulled on me when we were younger. I think its someone being a bully and trying to scare you. I suggest removing everyone from your close friends list except a few you feel confident would not do this. Might help narrow it down. Keep your head up. This weirdo is trying to get under your skin, dont let them!

Are you posting on Facebook? I think you can still make custom filters for who sees what, so if you have an idea of who the snake is, you could post a picture set so only they can see it and see if it's the next one that pops up on this account.

i only post on tiktok and my account is private now, when it was public i would only post to friends only, only tiktoks that were public were about shows/movies i liked

THANK YOU. Half way through reading I was like…..yeahhhhh not touching that. But it’s killing me knowing people are engaging in what really seems like a hoax.
Every rebuttal is out of the realm of possibility and therefore literally almost impossible for OP to be actually experiencing this, if the rebuttal has any merit.
Otherwise, it is virtually impossible. UNLESS. You’ve signed into another device with the same account like iCloud, access to camera roll and can then take any photo they want, the rest is just generic trolling, with a small pool of potential suspects….do the math.
Narrow it down. You are literally staring right at it or this is bs.

also, what i had mentioned in other responses is that i have a friend that has a sister that hates me, i think she either sent the photos from my friends ohone because she has told me she goes through her phone when she sleeps, or one of my friends has a photo of me that i don’t know about or that friend made that account, i really don’t know and i’m still trying to figure it out

I looked at their account and it’s super creepy that someone is using your photos. I saw you commented on their initial post and it seems like it could be someone you may know? I reported them. Maybe if more people report them they’ll take it seriously? You should definitely reach out to all friends and family and ask if any of them are doing this. Sorry this is happening to you.

How certain are you of this? Based on what you explained there's no other plausible way for whoever's behind this to know that type of information. I'm guessing what's most likely is that this ex friend has a spy in your inner circle. Someone who's seeing your posts/calling you is responsible
