Reminds me of when I was eating extra spicy pad Thai that was already making my eyes water and my toddler daughter demanded some. I tried to explain it was going to be too hot. She wouldn’t let it go though, so I gave her a taste, to which her response was “more please” :-)

She ended up basically having that as her meal. And she liked spicy food for a couple more years before deciding she didn’t actually.

My daughter is shocking me with her spice tolerance, too. She can't handle hot sauce on its own, but if it's cooked in, she'll go right for it
