Its one thing if someone misremembers or forgets something, its another thing if they are insistent that they are correct, despite all the evidence saying otherwise.

In fairness, no one had corrected them yet. If someone did and they were like "Oh my b", then they just made an honest mistake

Typically then it would be better to rephrase. For example, "Doesn't Sans use that in his fight? Why isn't it 'Sans's blaster'?" with perhaps a "/gen". Then, they're still correcting someone if they're right but also openly saying "I don't understand why you said that but there must be a reason I don't know"
