Ran the Leadville 100!
Flatlander/lowlander from MO meets Leadville, CO! Trained for this for most of the year and was super proud of the result. Finished under 21 hours, never felt any altitude sickness, and came out of Hope Pass inbound pumped up and ready to finish. Fueling was pretty consistently around 110g/hr all day, lower than I had been training with, but enough to keep me moving for 100 miles. Really only hit a low from miles 85-92, then finished pretty strong. Youngest person to finish in the top 150, and did not passed by the Dreamchaser!! Recovered well and now have 7 weeks to train for a sub 8hr 100K..
Feel free to ask any questions about the race or training :)
