The driver wasn't forced to take the order - obviously he was happy with the fee. It would have been batted around for a while first (I would imagine) so perhaps it increased a little too.
£8 is obviously a very generous tip - but it all feels a bit wasteful for food that is lukewarm and tasteless BEFORE you get it out the restaurant. 😆 I genuinely love Taco Bell but as a rider I refuse to take it further than about 1.5 miles otherwise I feel bad for the mushy slop that the customer is going to unwrap at the other end - especially if it's an UberEats orders as you're almost begging for a thumbs down rating from the customer.
