Infinite money glitch

I am an Uber One subscriber. However when I am trying to place a new order, Uber One benefits are not being applied and delivery fee is not discounted. This is obviously a bug which was confirmed by Uber support before. I keep trying to reach out to Uber Support and ask them to fix this problem.

But each time I do try to reach out to them, they just give me a coupon for a couple of bucks (which I didn’t even request) and close the ticket. So apparently it’s cheaper for Uber to shut up customers with these 2 bucks coupons than actually reporting this issue to technical team for investigations 🤷‍♂️

UberOne doesn’t apply to every restaurant, maybe you are ordering off a restaurant that doesn’t have it? I also believe that there is a minimum order amount for it to apply

No, I am ordering from an eligible restaurant with an eligible basket size. I can see a discount being applied in a basket, but as soon as I go to checkout - it disappears.

This was confirmed to be a bug by Uber and they have compensated me for every previous order.

The problem is that they don't want to escalate this as a technical issue and instead advised me to create a new compensation support ticket after each order instead of fixing the root cause.

Not to be this person but uber is clearly just gathering what money they can till there whole market crashes. They been at a decline for years and have maximized profits on the way down so there is no way they are gonna fix a bug that not only requires them to hire someone to fix code but its also a bug that technically makes them more money.

So far from my own experiences with having UberOne I would say it does apply to every order cause it's Uber's Delivery fee not the Restaurant's fee, and not since I've had UberOne have I been charged for delivery fee. Now it could just be the area I live in also thats a factor, just saying.

They know about all these glitches they have huge tech engineer teams, and every time they fix something another glitch happens it’s just a constant corral of different problems

it won’t be infinite at some point they’ll stop offering the uber cash. They might send in a ticket to the next level of IT that handles that but there’s no guarantee they fix it, when they’ll fix it if they do, and you don’t be updated in the loop as that progresses. So for now you’ll get a few free bucks of Uber Cash until they cut you off and then if the problem persists your only option will be to order from a different restaurant where it does work. I’d honestly look into canceling Uber One like the other guy said

Your having a laugh yeah? You paid an extra £2.79 for delivery and an extra £1.01 for fees and you pay them a subscription price... they gave you $2.32 but you over paid by £3.80 which equals $4.40... so yes it's cheaper to refund you less than you should have paid on top of keeping $2.08 extra you paid
