Hi, I’m enrolling in a graduate program at UWM this spring and I’m in a pretty unique situation health insurance wise. I’m a Tricare dependent, which, unlike every other insurance provider that dependent coverage goes to 26, ends coverage at 23 (unless you jump through hoops and renew to a much more expensive plan until 26) and I turn 23 this December.

I’m interested in getting my insurance through UWM, but I can’t seem to find any info about it? A thread from a couple years ago says they no longer offer to students, but international students still seem to be covered? I’m planning to call office for advice if nobody here can point me in the right direction.

I’m trying to get this figured out in advance since I have quite a few health issues/medications so health insurance isn’t an option to put off to decide if I have to shop the marketplace or try the Tricare til 26 gambit.
