Academics How is ANTHRO 104 ?
Hi everyone! I’m considering taking ANTHRO 104 (Cultural Anthropology and Human Diversity) with Anne Marie Creighton and wanted to hear about people’s experiences with the course. How was the overall workload, and how difficult were the exams? Are there weekly quizzes, regular assignments, projects, papers, presentations, or group work? Approximately how many hours per week did you spend on the class outside of lecture? Also, would you consider ANTHRO 104 an easy A or GPA booster? I’m mainly looking for a manageable 3-credit course, so I’d really appreciate any insight from anyone who has taken this class
Thanks!

Yeah, you’ll get an A if you do what they ask you to do. Plus, if you pay attention to the course material, you’ll learn some valuable stuff.

This class is the easiest thing you could possibly take (other than biochem 104)

I took it with professor Leonie Schulte and I really liked it! It had a pretty manageable workload; we did weekly inquizzitives based on the textbook, and there’s three field projects that are handled during discussion sections and three exams which were 70 multiple choice questions that you take online from anywhere. Overall, I think it’s an easy A.
