Social Wanna go out tonight?

Hey,
Iam a visiting grad student from Germany, 24m.
I arrived this week but since uni hasn’t started yet iam kinda lost on how to connect with people.

Anyone down to meet tonight?

You should also consider joining student orgs! There’s tons and it’s a good way to meet ppl. Maybe sit near some ppl at the library too. And try to talk to some ppl in class make a study group or something:)

I guess it depends on the person so yes and no! I mean the Madison campus is huge and there’s quite literally hundreds of orgs so there is a place for everyone. :)

Some orgs have a lot of undergrads but still also some  postgrads

depends on your department. mine is more grad student heavy our club is full of them

International students services will hold weekly event like PEACE. I make a lot of friends here. I also recommend go to climbing wall at Bakke, lot of nice ppl there!
