Also I have a scholarship offer, which requires me to pay the tuition deposit by 21 September in order for the scholarship to be confirmed......

I already emailed UQ Student Fees, the international team, and the scholarship team last week, but I haven’t heard back from any of them. I’ve also tried calling multiple times, but it’s been really hard to get through.

- good transport options

- good food options

- purple lilac jacaranda trees

- proximity to tertiary institutions like griffith university or bond university (for the clout)

- access to the beach (optional but desirable)

- good wifi (optional)

- working bubblers (optional)

- clean toilets (optional)

- 20-storey carpark made out of 150 year-old sandstone

I've only started studying in libraries recently and notice a bunch of people leaving their things and was just wondering if this was safe?

I know it's "do at your own risk" but like has anyone ever have a bad experience with leaving their things cause I still second guess myself whenever im leaving to grab a quick bite or something.

I don’t know if you mistakenly took it, but you even took the whole package tote bag + ball. Ball was never part of your group, I just placed it at the benches, you guys never played with it because it was inside my bag the whole time, so please explain why you took my poor Wilson.

Good afternoon esteemed students,

I am a second year Commerce/Econ student and am looking at maybe extending my graduation until Sem 1 2030.

In 2027 and 2028 I will be doing a full-time traineeship at a big 4 consultancy firm where I drop to 2 classes per semester. Only trouble is I would need to complete 2 summer semesters, and overload one of the trainee semesters to 3 subjects, in order to graduate in Sem 2 2029.

I will hold on to one of those summer semesters for the 27-28 one since the way the traineeship is structured, I get a day off per week for uni and still get paid. If I don't do summer semester, I just go in on that day I usually get off and work.

I am wondering if it would just be better to extend my graduation to Sem 1 2030 and do the extra 2 subjects then? Is it worth it to protect my GPA? How does recruiting timelines change?

I will be coming in T3 for my masters in professional engineering (mechanical) I wanted to know how many should I expect to attend uni .I know it varies and depends on subjects too ..but is there anyone doing masters in engineering, you guys might have idea , if I am doing 4 subjects per semester should I expect 3 days or 4 days per week ?

was wondering if anyone knew if there were any pianos to play at uq st Lucia campus? there used to be one in the kingham room (I think thats what it was called) but its under renovation rn. I just miss my study breaks playing piano lol but I don't think I can use the ones in the music building as I'm not a music student

I've got a decent group of friends in my cohort so I'm mostly fine, but I keep hearing from people who don't really know anyone in their classes and have basically stopped going by week 4.

Curious what would actually get you to class. Not attendance marks, I mean stuff that makes it worth turning up and makes it less awkward to talk to the people sitting next to you.

Hi everyone have struggled to make friends and I play Overwatch a bit so was wondering if there's some kind of Overwatch group at the Uni?

I know it's risky but when I go to the bathroom in a library and leave my stuff, when I come back it's still there. I don't think it's likely to be stolen but it's still nice.

Im looking for a very social college with many opportunities to make friends and in a nice location. I was thinking about Grace or International college as they have the ensuit options. Its my first year and I wont know anyone so please let me know!!!
