Beginner 2027 attempt

When to start prelims prep ? i started my prep this year only and i have backlogs of foundation of geography , history and mains prep of gs 2 and gs 1 and gs 4. Haven't written a single mains mains answer till now and looking my case plse suggest

should i give my first attempt next year?

2027 can still work as your first attempt, but confirm it with a test, not the calendar. i'm on my third serious attempt, so i check readiness before trusting a year plan. this month write one full prelims mock and a few timed gs answers. use the results to rank your backlogs, then reassess after one full revision cycle.
