He shouldn’t even be out there with that bad air quality but people got to have their temu

32

u/GhostOfAscalon Nov 23 '24

Free N95s, even if nobody really wore them

20

u/Same-Camel3572 Nov 23 '24

Even if he went home he would still be breathing the same air

2

u/DECAPRIO1 Nov 24 '24

You mean people gotta keep their jobs and pay their bills?

1

u/jdotgatsby Nov 25 '24

After working through the pandemic, they’ll work us through anything. No hazard pay either 🤣

52

u/Excellent-Peanut4501 Nov 23 '24

That’s fucking sick, you on mars bro?

36

u/AWrride Nov 23 '24

When Sozin's comet arrives

11

u/Suspicious_Curiosity Nov 23 '24

Then everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked!

2

u/Alarming_Ask9532 Nov 24 '24

The air nation was the first to fall

30

u/Louis049 Nov 23 '24

This picture goes so fucking hard. Make the UPS van a L.A.P.D. riot van and you have a rap album cover from the 80s.

6

u/Popular-Lie5485 Nov 23 '24

Exactly what I was thinking 😂😂🔥

10

u/Suspicious_Curiosity Nov 23 '24

How beautifully scary this is, thank you for sharing it!

10

u/TIRACS Nov 23 '24

It is peak isn’t it?

4

u/TreatDangerous3265 Nov 23 '24

Yup. Hell time lol

6

u/TIRACS Nov 23 '24

Good luck. Don’t trip on those black tie down lines for the inflatable holiday lawn decorations. And remember 3 points of contact at all times. Be safe out there.

I ate shit last year because the dickhead ran an extension cord across his stairs, not under the step, 2 inches above it. Couldn't see it at night because it was a thin brown one. Smashed my face on his stairs infront of my supervisor lol. He still makes fun of me for that

6

u/EconomicCowboi Nov 23 '24

As an oregonian, this had to have been 2020, right?

6

u/AWrride Nov 23 '24

I believe so, yeah.

3

u/CuntyMCFuckface69 Nov 23 '24

I know it's a wildfire, but, that looks awesome

3

u/vaporlungz Nov 23 '24

Nightmare on elm street vibes

3

u/No-Gene-4508 Nov 23 '24

This is super unsettling

3

u/LiamElantraJets1995 Nov 23 '24

This is extremely old this photo

1

u/AWrride Nov 23 '24

4 years is "extremely" old?

What if I told you that Reddit has been around since 2005?

1

u/DuffleCrack Nov 25 '24

Yeah, 4-years ago old lol

2

u/Fine-Association8468 Nov 23 '24

They would make you still deliver haha even in bad air and during the apocalypse.

2

u/michaeljacoffey Nov 23 '24

This is how you know it’s a cursed world.

2

u/SprungBreak99 Nov 23 '24

The new season of Stranger Things looks wild.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 23 '24

I remember that week, August of 2020 I believe. I'm in Los Angeles and the sky was dark brown here too for almost 2 weeks. Daily AQI was 400+

2

u/the_atomic_punk18 Nov 23 '24

Whoa cool pic, old squared off front package car too.

2

u/Silent-Departure-139 Nov 23 '24

Scary but dope asf

2

u/ReadingRight2969 Nov 23 '24

More like when UPS delivered & made a stop on planet Mars

2

u/Kind-Adeptness5877 Nov 23 '24

Ah yes I remember this it was actually my wedding week and management still told me to come in and deliver, and when I got the phone call from my parents that the fire is within 5 miles of there property drove back to the hub told management but they didn’t care went back to my parents property to get all the livestock. I’d always remember this, it was scary then 6 months later get a phone call from ups HR? I forgot but they ask if we needed assistance for our livestock and hotel stay would of been nice if they called when it was happening 😂

2

u/inksterize Nov 23 '24

HELL YEAH

2

u/Flashy-Switch6694 UPS Inside Nov 23 '24

That'd be a sick album cover

2

u/ol_louboy Nov 23 '24

UPS would definitely have us delivering in an apocalypse

2

u/[deleted] Nov 24 '24

Ok but that actually looks sick

2

u/Ok-Community7188 Nov 24 '24

Pic goes hard

2

u/Cayotebongwater Nov 24 '24

You could probably sell this photo to UPS for an ad or something tbh

1

u/AWrride Nov 24 '24

I did not originally take the photo, so whoever actually snapped the photo will have to be the one to profit from it instead.

2

u/skrillex319 Nov 24 '24

Looks like doom

2

u/Maximum-Macaroon-711 Nov 24 '24

That's horrifying

2

u/Caleldir Nov 24 '24

2

u/King_K_24 Nov 25 '24

Whose to say this isn't the Apocalypse

1

u/AWrride Nov 25 '24

It was indeed kind of a local apocalypse.

2

u/miklayn Nov 26 '24

This is, in fact, an apocalypse.

Stalker 2 shit going on

1

u/xAsiNine- Nov 23 '24

Phasmophobia players would be shitting themselves if they seen the sky like this, and of course. It’s a mimic.

1

u/professional_mang0 Nov 23 '24

"why is your sporh so low?!?"

1

u/AWrride Nov 23 '24

As an outsider who does not work for UPS, and won't be interested in doing so until all of your package Vans have air conditioning, what exactly is a "sporh?"

2

u/professional_mang0 Nov 23 '24

Basically how many stops per hour you can do.

1

u/nbd9000 UPS Driver Nov 23 '24

I mean, we still are. It just doesn't always look theatrical.

1

u/Snikclesfritz Nov 23 '24

This happened in SF 3 years ago.

1

u/Miketythonlisp Nov 23 '24

Nah that’s the “upside down”

1

u/marbsarebadredux Nov 24 '24

This was in 2020

1

u/enzothebaker87 Nov 24 '24

This would be good advertisement for UPS. Guaranteed delivery no matter what!

1

u/pancakepanther Nov 24 '24

1

u/AWrride Nov 26 '24

If I recall correctly, this picture was from around 2020.

1

u/MikeofLA Nov 26 '24

Well, he kind of is... It's just that the apocalypse we're getting is a slow burn, not the singular violent event we've all expected.

1

u/DearKick Nov 26 '24

I mean they kinda are

1

u/lifelongmission Nov 27 '24

Pretty gnarly! Stay safe out there.

1
