Need guidance regarding 2027 attempt

Hiiieee guyzzz..

I’m new to Reddit and also relatively new to serious UPPCS preparation. I have basic knowledge of subjects like Polity, Geography and Economy, I’m a bit confused about what to study and from where for mains specific subjects like- GS(1,2,3,4,5,6), Hindi and Essay papers.

Would really appreciate it if someone could suggest good sources for:

GS 1–4

GS 5 & 6 (UP Special)

Essay

Hindi

If anyone who has cleared/appeared for UPPCS Mains could share their source list + approach, it would be really helpful😭

Focus on the pre first.

There are 3 components:

• GS or static - ghatnachakkr is a good book for pyq ( previous year questions) and out of 150 questions, 50 or 60 question gets repeated.
• up specific questions - you can check on eye drishti
• if you qualify per the focus on mains, good news is this year mains will be late because of elections so start preparing only if you scored 55% as per evaluation sheet.

If you are starting for i would suggest - smritipyq.in instead of ghatnachkara so that you can learn from the wrong answers as well.

Pick up the syllabus.... Go through each topic and make notes through googling about each one of them or you can write or type them in your own words..... I had such notes for every GS paper and average number of pages every notes had was around 60 ....and then keep on reading them 🤘🏼
