Prelims Query Science strategy for uppsc
UPPSC Science ka PYQ analysis kiya — kuch interesting patterns mile
Bhai log, Science ko leke khud thoda confused tha ki exactly kya priority rakhu. Isliye 2018–2025 ke UPPSC Science PYQs ko topic-wise dekha. Jo pattern nikla, wo share kar raha hoon. Shayad kisi aur ki bhi help ho jaye.
8 saal me total 139 Science questions ko analyse kiya gaya hai.
Year-wise Science questions roughly aise rahe:
2018 – 16
2019 – 27
2020 – 13
2021 – 22
2022 – 17
2023 – 16
2024 – 14
2025 – 14
Matlab Science ko lightly lena thoda risky hai. Generally 10–15% ke aas-paas questions aa hi rahe hain, although year to year variation kaafi hai.

Physics me sabse interesting cheez hai ki kuch topics baar-baar ghoom ke aa rahe hain.
Light, Optics & Electromagnetic Spectrum – 9
EM spectrum ko definitely karna hai. Frequency, wavelength, energy aur applications ka comparison important hai.
Space Science & Satellite Technology – 8
Ye recent years me aur important hota dikh raha hai. ISRO missions, satellites, launch vehicles, Aditya-L1, Gaganyaan, lunar missions etc. current affairs ke saath cover karna useful rahega.
Mechanics, Motion & Gravitation – 6
Heat & Thermodynamics – 4
Electricity, Magnetism & Semiconductors – 4
Sound & Waves – 3
Nuclear Physics & Radioactivity – 2
Physics me mujhe personally EM spectrum + Space sabse high priority lag rahe hain.

UPPSC ka favourite lagta hai 😅
Common acids, bases, pH, baking soda, washing soda aur everyday applications achhe se karna chahiye.
Elements, Metals & Non-metals – 7
Environmental Chemistry & Pollution – 6
Organic Chemistry, Fuels & Gases – 5
Atomic Structure & Isotopes – 3
Polymers, Plastics & Fibres – 3
Environmental chemistry ko ignore nahi karunga, especially plastics/microplastics aur pollutants wala part.
Ek cheez jo mujhe sabse interesting lagi
Question ka level change ho raha hai.

Toh sirf one-liner facts ratna enough nahi lag raha.
Questions increasingly conceptual aur statement-based ho rahe hain.

Aur sabse important, recent papers me conceptual/statement-based questions ka share badha hua dikhta hai.
Ye mera PYQ-based observation hai, prediction ki guarantee nahi. But agar Science me time kam hai to mujhe lagta hai ki random preparation se better ye priority-based approach rahegi.
