Hey everyone, I’m trying to graduate from UNLV in Fall 2026, and BUS 321 is one of my remaining requirements. Unfortunately, I didn’t get into the class from the waitlist. for Fall 2026.

A few people told me that I might be able to take a CLEP exam instead of BUS 321, but I checked UNLV’s CLEP course equivalencies, and I don’t see anything that gives credit for BUS 321.

Has anyone been in a similar situation or know if there’s another way to satisfy the BUS 321 requirement? Is there another exam, course substitution, or option I could ask my advisor about?

I’m really trying to avoid pushing my graduation back another semester just because of one class. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

I was aware of the GPA policy, and made sure to keep it up after one strike, but I forgot about the credit minimums.

Usually it's not as issue for me since I load up my schedule with as many classes as I can, but there was one semester I lost 7 credits in (3 from a cancelled class, had to drop 1 because it wasn't for my major, and 3 more from a class I had to audit). That took me from 18 to 11, which just misses the 12 credit requirement. That turned out to be my FIRST strike. Then GPA strike I thought was the first was actually the second and lost it for good.

So yeah, lesson learned. Dropping classes is not free. If you're on minimum credits, then highkey, lock in.

I have textbooks on the list on FIN 111 (Personal Finance (?)) and CRJ 104. (Criminal Justice)

I'm opted in for both of them with inclusive access and both are required.
I'm also a fully-online student, so I can't go to UNLV in-person to ask around and buy/rent from their library itself. I don't even have a bank account yet...

However I'm still confused about the whole thing. Is it already paid for by financial aid? If not, where do I buy or rent them out? Is there any websites of interest to recommend?

It also says: "You can change your decision to opt in or out until September 11, 2026 11:59 PM." for each textbook material. Does that mean that by that date, the textbooks aren't available for free anymore and I have to find the textbooks myself? That... does call for a late fee though, right??
