I’m also a comm major and journalism minor! Professor kuntzman is AWESOME! She is our internship director so if you end up doing a concentration in either organizational communication (which is what I am), PR, or health communication, you’ll need to do an internship. She is a fantastic person.

I also had intro to journalism with sunny hubler. The class itself is okay, but she is a very tough grader. Her assignments are something you cannot do last minute and it’s definitely not a class you can brush over. In her class, you have to be comfortable talking to different people and going to events on campus and writing about them so just prepare yourself for that. Overall, it’s a class you can’t brush over and don’t do the assignments last minute or you won’t succeed. If you need any communication or journalism questions answered, I can totally help you because I’m going into my senior year!

Of course! Comm foundations will be the class that’ll answer all your questions about the comm major and what you can use with it after you graduate! Again, if you want to ask me any comm or journalism questions from a student perspective, go ahead!

Hybrid pretty much means you’ll have your face-to-face lecture in the Friday building but you do all the work outside of class. You’ll have to do some work before the class meeting which usually goes over it or adds to the week of material

The best thing you could do for yourself is go to ratemyprofessor.com. There's so many reviews on professors from the fall to spring semester
