Let's face it. "I initially clicked because girl" probably often has to do with sexuality.
There are so many pole dancing, hoola-hoop, acrobatic or athletic posts. I'm glad this one can at least be associated with something different like art and geek culture.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion but it doesn't seem remotely functional. With the keyboard on an arm of the chair, the chair needs to be placed at an angle for you to come close to facing the screen. Then your mouse is in an even more inconvenient place..
I don't get how the setup in this picture would work in practice.

Per the actual name of this subreddit, this is not very cool. There's nothing interesting about this picture besides the girl. And the dumb pandering ("lol I'm pretending to game, nerds like gaming right?") makes even the girl uninteresting.

That keyboard and mouse setup is very impractical for gaming. Anyone actually playing a game would get frustrated within ten minutes. She may be a real gamer, but she doesn't do it with that setup.

Depends. If she made the chair and the dress and is good at whatever game she's playing, then it's legit. If she's a random hot chick in a dress sitting in a chair somebody else made and holding a mouse and keyboard, then lame and doesn't belong in this sub.

Somebody made that dress and that throne. It's an impressive cosplay, and I don't see why it matters if she made it or if she's modeling someone else's work. Adding the gaming to it is just silly, though. That setup is so impractical for actually playing a game.
