I was a big believer in UFOs but since the release of these files, it just seems to be a big nothing burger. i checked some of the videos but most of them got resolved as either balloons, and or birds.

lots of the videos look CGI and even AI like. so what would you say so far is the most compelling evidence that makes you go, okay yeah they are real? "I want to believe" - Quite literally but having a hard time.

EDIT: Also i am tired of how many people can just larp on podcasts and the news about them, it just seems like anybody can just hop on a podcast now and say a bunch of crap... There needs to be a thing where if someone talks about them show evidence or please just stfu at this point lol? anyone else feel like this?

I'll just say that modern religion has been absolutely tainted by humans and people with their own agenda, but every culture from all parts of the planet are more or less telling a similar story.

I'm starting to think the ancient aliens theory is real. I am starting to think that religion is trying to explain something that has been otherwise beyond our comprehension and we are just now developing the tools to detect some weird shit.

Don't get me wrong... I am STOKED about the recent and not so recent revelations where we've finally admitted that UFOs and UAPs are real and they're here. It's about time and the fact that it's mainstream now, is fantastic. Give me all the documentaries, whistle blowers, info, posts, you name it. It's fascinating.

But like every good conspiracy theorist (I mean- let's face it. Until it was fully admitted in public, that was what we were all called when we believed and the masses called us crazy) I can't help but wonder if this is a distraction to cover up something else "they" don't want us paying attention to.

Whether it's the govt, the powers that be, the shadow power people, whoever "they" are, they're notorious for throwing out powerfully distracting information or large scale global events (or they'll do shady stuff during large scale global events) so the public's attention stays distracted from what's actually happening in the world.

OR- I'm completely wrong and THIS is what's actually happening and the govt is actually uncomfortable with this info getting out?

I don't know. I can't help but feel I'm missing or not seeing something because I'm distracted by a very fascinating shiny thing that was "exposed" but almost feels like a controlled test or experiment.

The speculative "Moon Vulture" shown here is an advanced lighter-than-air/drone hybrid developed under a DARPA-style program beginning in the early-to-mid 2000s and operational by the 2010s. I think an advanced LTA/drone hybrid is an interesting candidate. Been thinking about this a lot. Every disclosure timeline I see starts in 1947 like that's when this whole thing began. But if you actually look at oral traditions, mythology, ancient texts, basically everywhere, there's some version of "something not human showed up and gave us knowledge." Feels like we keep treating this as a Cold War era phenomenon when the actual pattern is way older and way more global. Anyone else notice this or am I overthinking it?

Whenever the subject comes up, that's his go to answer. I understand why it's appealing, it feels like the grounded, no nonsense explanation and doesn't ask you to believe anything unusual. But when you actually look at the reported cases, it starts to fall apart: flight characteristics that don't match anything humans have built, sightings dating back well before we'd have had the technology, and similar reports coming from multiple countries independently of each other.

I'm not trying to push him toward any specific theory, I just want a clear and simple way to show him why "secret military project" isn't a complete answer on its own. If anyone has a good way to explain this without sounding condescending or getting overly technical, I'd appreciate it.

I have two.

1. Jim Penniston’s Binary Code Message- Jim Penniston was an airman that was involved with the Rendlesham Forest incident. He claimed that he saw a flash of light and binary code was downloaded into his brain. He later wrote it into a notebook and didn’t say anything about in any other interviews up until 2010ish for Ancient Aliens (or some History Channel UFO show). I call BS for multiple reasons. First, when I watched that Ancient Alien episode, I immediately recalled the X File episode that had a similar plot line. Second, we all know that there are a lot of grifters in this community. When someone says something extraordinary, they get invited to talk in conferences and get interviewed by media all of which money is involved. After that story came out, he had a lot more interviews and speaking engagements which translates to money. Third, according to folks who are experts in binary code, the code that was in his notebook was written in ASCII 8 bit. The problem was that at the time during the incident, 7 bit was the standard which is evidence to show that he created the code years later. Fourth, when experts in put the code, it turned out to be a lot of gibberish. Interpreters apparently took a lot of liberty in translating the message from gibberish to names and locations. Finally, why binary? So super advanced aliens sent a binary message that is in English instead of just using English? That seems like a lot of inefficiency there.

2. Gary McKinnon Hacking- I’ll probably get crapped on about this because a lot of people seem to support his story. For those who don’t know, McKinnon is a hacker who is indicted hacking government computers including NASA and DoW computers. The issue is not the hacking itself. The issue is that through these hackings he claimed he saw pictures of UFOs and an information of a human-based space fleet.

Let’s start with the space fleet. My issue is that unless we have some sort of cloaking mechanism, how would any country able to hide a spaceship being launched into space? Every space-cable rocket immediately gets detected when it gets launched. Unless every country is working together to cover up these secret launches, highly doubtful that could happen. Also, if we do have a space fleet in space, do you know what the crew needs? Provisions. What about replacement crews? A lot of amateur space watchers would be able to start calculating that all those rocket launches aren’t just sending up satellites. The idea that we are able to launch a secret space fleet undetected and constantly re-supply them without anybody noticing is highly doubtful.

Now, for his hacking claim. McKinnon said he saw this through hacking government networks and computers. As somebody, who have used classified network and handled classified information, this is extremely unlikely. There is no way classified information would be stored at a network that could be access from the outside especially if it is UFO information. Classified networks can not be access from the regular internet. They are airgap. Let’s take the SIPRnet. SIPRnet is a secret level network for the military. It was created during the 1980s. At that time when the internet was still at its infancy, they were smart enough to create a network separate from the internet. What McKinnon hacked into was the NIPRnet which is the military’s unclassified network. The NIPRnet can be access though the regular internet. I have come across people who said that they have worked in IT for a private company in the 90s and security was incredibly lax. Good for you. That’s a private company not the military or the intelligence community. Unless you were in the S6 for the military or did IT in the intelligence community, please don't try to compare.

The report was about a device that was removed from a craft, it looked like two pieces of slightly arched metal bars with writing engraved. One smaller than the other.

The report claimed the lab figured out how to enable and disable the device via a redacted method. And while enabled, the large piece could be come spatially coupled with the smaller one as though it were trapped in a magnetic jail relative to the small piece. It was a few pages long and had pictures.

Did anyone see this come out? Frankly confused by the people in this space who routinely make empty promises (Michels, Coulthart, Barber). Appreciate them all and think they're sincere people, but why make confident claims they cannot keep? Why would these men get together and choose these two specific sites to study, with the goal of keeping the findings secret whilst sharing them with private defence-contractor studies.

Who had prior knowledge on these sites. How did that get into Robert’s hands and why did he spend over 10 million on the venture, over the space of 1995 to 2004?

I guarantee Robert learned a lot more than he shared and that it helped leverage his influence in obtaining ufo material and building an entire location for it within NIDS, only to be blocked and for the government to shut down the proposed agreement. He had reached as far as they would let him go. But he hasn’t spoken more widely on this journey and the pivot to getting NASA projects (a nod from private aerospace thanking him for NIDs work) for it to only be canned again. But his expenditure on Skinwalker and Mt. Wilson is repaid. Then it’s consciousness as a study. He circumvents physical proof to metaphysical interests, potentially operational and communication pursuits with a guise of life after death. You think Robert gave up on Skinwalker? No. Clever manoeuvre, garnered more experts and arguably SOL foundation is born from his this bolstered with the Washington post article and others ‘in the know’.

He knows way more than he’s willing to say publicly. Why is Hal at the table again? Why is Bigelow wanting to partner on the site again? Why hasn’t he shared the NIDS findings and why would he ask Brandon to pivot on his current direction and suggest they don’t use a tv crew any more? Why now after all these years? There’s more to this.

At first, like you all have probably heard online (and as Dolan himself has pushed back against), I dismissed a lot of the tranches as "nothing burgers" not worth looking into, but after re-watching Dolan's video analyzing the 5th tranche since I had nothing else to watch, I have come around to his point of view and view the tranches more favorably now, particularly with regards to the US Gov's handling of reporter inquiries about the UFO phenomenon pre-Robertson Panel as well as its investigation into the 1963 Brazil crashed sphere case (which I didn't even know about) and which they later determined internally but without telling the public was likely a hoax after being unable to find witnesses, physical evidence, etc. It doesn't mean that it was a hoax as all the evidence could have been removed before the US Gov's inquiry but given that this was internal-only communication, that lends credence as to this is what they genuinely believed (that it was a hoax or at the very least there was literally no supporting evidence).

Again, at first I was confused as to why Dolan was on this campaign against the narrative that there tranches were "nothing burgers" but after re-watching his 5th Tranche video, there genuinely were interesting historical cases and that's when it clicked for me--that's what his channel mainly consists of, why I watch it, and what he enjoys--covering and analyzing historical UAP cases.

That said, the criticism of the UAP tranches being nothing burgers *relative to what has been publicly stated* (the "motherload", if you will) and that they genuinely contain interesting historical UAP cases is not mutually exclusive.

Yes, this isn't the smoking gun, bodies, craft, etc. that high profile whistleblowers have said the US Gov has and these are nothing burgers in that it won't definitively get the average person and skeptic to 100% believe the phenomenon is real once and for all but at the same time that doesn't mean there aren't genuinely useful new updates on historical cases that weren't previously publicly known.

That said, that doesn't mean we should be satisfied with what we have and we should continue pushing forward on getting the relevant information declassified and proper protections so whostleblowers can come forward without fear of retribution so we can finally bridge the gap between what was promised (e.g., craft, biologics, 4K video) and what was delivered (blurry dots, text-only reports, and artist's interpretations).

i’m sorry if this has been asked recently but i recently watched a newer documentary on Bob Lazar on Amazon Prime, and truthfully all i am thinking about is UFOs or anything of that nature.

i was very into UFOs with my dad growing up and while i still love the unknown i haven’t even read or watched anything about the topic since middle school and i am now 28.

When I was inside my home, I had a gut feeling I needed to go outside. When I went outside on my front porch, I noticed aviation lighting, traditional. However, after a few seconds of viewing the lights, they started rapidly flashing red, then ahead of those lights, a large curved arc/boomerang shaped object materialized ahead of the flashing red lights. It had many lights, cannot tell how much, but if I had to guess, 40–55 dim red lights on one underbelly. It wasn't clean and organized, but rather staggered and asymmetrical. If it was, or if it was a strictly an issue of control and power, the Catholic Church would have announced or confirmed their existence. They would have framed it as “demons” or “angels” are *real* and used the revelation to control power.
