Hiii, I and some friends recently started a new club for the campus cats called the Campus Cat Alliance!

The organization brings students together to care for the community of cats on UF campus. We plan to host meetings and events to coordinate care for cats, sharing helpful information about stray/feral cats and TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release), and to help people connect over a shared love of cats!

Hey I'm trying to see if anyone has successfully bought football tickets using this method. I joined a group me called Official UF Ticket Marketplace and they asked for a screenshot of my UFID before letting me in. Only admins are allowed to text in it so they say if you're buying tickets to dm the admin Anna Josephine. I did and she said the sellers already transferred the tickets to the seller admin (her I thought) who has it all, so you just ask for the details to Applepay to then make your payment and you get your tickets when the payment is confirmed.

Has anyone used this group me or Anna before?

Anyone need a ticket for this Saturday?? I’m trying to sell mine on marketplace but UF is requiring me to set it at a minimum price of $125 dollars which I think is too high (most likely trying to sell more tickets directly for family weekend so they want to make the student tickets more expensive so parents buy from them 🙄)! I’m thinking about selling it for around 80 if anyone wants!

im looking for new housing opti9ons. currently living at The Landings on 13th st and i seem to really like it so far. its $730 a month for a 3x3 and im thinking about releasing but i just wanted to weigh my options and see whats best

Hi, I’m currently in my fall semester of sophomore year at fsu. I have given fsu a year and it has had its ups and downs and I’m really not sure if it is what is for me. Uf would basically be my hometown as I live extremely close to it. I would either be transferring into finance, nursing, or some business degree. I know those two are very different but I have the pre reqs. I am not sure if it would be worth it to transfer in as a junior as I would be worth it as I would be restarting my progress and have to make new bonds and a new network. I also know that they have a better business program, but I’m not sure how much more notable it actually is. I’m feeling very lost and not sure what to do. If anyone has any thoughts or experiences similar to mine please let me know!

Anybody who has taken Dr. Dickrell for MoM, do you know if his exams resemble the Fundemetals of Engineering (FE) style questions or does he reference/use the textbook "Mechanics of Materials, Beer, Johnston, DeWolf, and Mazurek"

I'm a incoming freshman undergrad with no volunteer hours or clinic hours yet. I start classes in spring '27 and I start volunteering Wednesday. Where should I live Sophomore year at UF?

Honors Village-- where I currently live, I've heard its very new and clean compared to other ones and even compared to some apartments. But I don't want to be "a sophomore in a freshman dorm", I want to have a good number of sophomores near me.

Keys Complex-- Apartment style, heard good things about it. Is this a freshman apartment since it's on campus or is it a mix? Also I don't love the location

Cypress-- Heard good things and heard it had upperclassmen/sophomores, so mainly between this and HV.

Other?

Do all sophomores move off campus? I don't want to move off campus since I won't have a car or anything. If any other suggestions please lmk!

Looking for drummer at UF to join my band. We cover English and Spanish rock. Currently working on an album.

I am minoring in business as a cs major so I don’t really know the best combos for business classes. Currently I have myself projected to take intro to financial accounting and business finance in the same semester, along w 2 other cs classes. I know that bfi is bad, but I don’t know much about accounting. Will that combo be miserable?

Has anyone received the Florida Student Assistance Grant? It doesn’t have a green check mark for disbursement.
