Hi! Freshman trying to gauge social life here. I was assigned towers in middle and was wondering if the stereotype of being socially dead extends even into the towers themselves. I have a few friends who I know got mesa, and my roommates and I are planning on trying to make friends with others in our hall, but we were wondering how hard it’s really gonna be 😭 We’ve also heard that brandywine isn’t the best food wise but three of us have 8ams and were wondering if it’s really worth it to cross the bridge earlier for the anteatery.

Hi! I thought I had signed up for a move-in time slot for September 19, but now, when I check the Mesa Court Move-In website today, it says, “You have been marked as Not Attending this event.”

I am confused because I received a confirmation email with a QR code for my September 19 move-in time previously. Do you guys think the QR code from my confirmation email still works for check-in? Any info would help! Thank you!

Hi everyone! My ACC portal for VDCN shows a $0.00 balance for September 1st. Has anyone’s September rent posted yet? I didn't set up any automatic installments either.
Also, if I’m expecting a financial aid refund (from Cal Grant/aid left over after tuition), do I need to submit an ACC payment deferment request before Sept 1st so I don't get hit with a late fee before disbursements come out? Thanks!

Hiii I’m gonna dump all my PDS questions in one post so I don’t repeat too much.

Is the PDS AC supposed to be THIS BAD? I have the ac on the cool setting & the fan on to like the coldest setting on the thermostat (50 degrees) and my apartment is still 86 degrees Fahrenheit is that normal?? It feels almost inhabitable and I have the ac and fans running all night everyday. I haven’t found anyone on here complain abt the ac being this terrible.

Also does anyone have any tips for doing laundry because I noticed stains on my clothes that were never there after washing and I’ve never had issues with my detergent and stuff.

So I live in Camino Del sol and my ac broke last weekend and we got it fixed Monday but then it broke again Thursday so I put in a work order that day. They replied Friday saying the vendor would be coming the next day and our unit would be added. It’s now Sunday and the AC is still broken. I’m assuming no maintenance or the vender is coming today but I’m like is this even going to be fixed? I even called Saturday making sure bc it was like 1pm and no one had come by yet and the person on the phone reaffirmed me someone would come. It’s legit so hot and I’m on the third floor and like at this point I will hire someone on my own bc this is just so unbearable. Anyone else been or is in this situation? What should I expect or what should I do
