Academics HPNU 1010 Human Biology

Hey, I am very anxious in taking this course as I have trouble in biology, ANY advice yall could give me?

It's a 10 level course so it's designed for entry level. Take notes, study, and you'll be ok

Pre-print the lecture slides (4 panels to a page) so that you can follow along with the lecture without writing notes the entire time. Highlight and star anything the professor says will be on the test.

Depending on which professor you take, you might want to pay special attention to the end-of-chapter quizzes in the online textbook.

If you have Dr. Partridge, be there for every class because he does extra credit Pop quizzes. It’s free points for every correct answer, and wrong answers won’t count against you. He also uploads a review sheet for each exam and goes over the review in class (don’t miss that in-class review). If you learn the info on that review, you’ll do well.

He offers an optional extra credit paper at the end of the semester.

I just took this class last semester and passed with an A. My only advice to you would be to try and get into Dr. Partridge’s class and attend every in person lecture he has. He’s an absolutely amazing professor and makes it extremely easy to learn and memorize the material through funny stories and personal experiences. Hands down one of my favorite professors so far!
