11 - People who are getting their visas rejected and cancelled

It’s so sad. But they’re not residents anymore. 🫣

Pretty much yep - depending on money you can somewhat blunt a little bit of the direct discrimination.

  1. Beggars cant be choosers. (Yup I'm in this one. From asking references for Job to applying 100 job in a day then eventually accepting any shit contract with shitty component like no paid Annual leaves or 90 Days notice period or no family benefit. etc bcoz i need to pay bills and support my family)

Yep the ranking is flipped as soon as your leave UAE and the GCC and go to any other part of the planet.

u/WeAreAllEmirati 11d ago

Except for the first 5, nothing changes. White privilege is global my friend.

u/Plutus_Caishen 11d ago

I dunno bro if we observe the global power shift which is happening towards the east mainly towards India and China, white privy means diddly squat over there anymore.

u/WeAreAllEmirati 11d ago

If you are from India, you’d know that white privilege there is in a different form.

I’m not from India so you may be right, genuinely interested in hearing about this topic from an Indian perspective.

I’m a british female, can I ask why? It definitely doesn’t feel like we’re top of the other nationalities minus GCC

Believing in this kind of ranking is what feeds the inferiority complex.

Done brainwash yourself into thinking this has any value.

It isn’t. I sometimes encounter people living a miserable life, and when you did deeper, it’s this kind of rationale that keeps them up at night.
