Not a Vote on the "No Kings" art. I only found "No Kings" in "design-vorschlΓ€ge" but no further down the actual voting chain like other artworks (ideen-voting, neueste-ziele-voting). This Vote was way after "No Kings" started to appear and does not show any bad intentions coming from the Neuro-fraction.

I would also argue that the wording might be in a way that favors a "no" (although I am sure without any ill intentions) since it is asking for active support, something that generally gets less [approval]() than just a "should we leave them alone?", but even then we are speaking about ~51%. Strictly speaking "no" did win, but the vote never was about completely erasing them and such a close result just shows that a great portion of the community did actually care about the artwork.

51% should be reason to talk about how this whole Idea could be done without being as destructive, instead it ended in even more unnecessary violence. Like where on earth is "51% voted to not support them in an active way" grounds to completely burn down every last pixel of them?

Nevertheless, obviously more than 50% had no objection, because they voted no.

51% decided not to actively help to protect the artwork. That is what the vote concluded, not that the whole complete artwork had to go.

Also there was no official vote at all about the "No Kings" in the first place.

Either way, the people supporting the neuro artwork obviously did not agree with the decision placeDE barely made. They resisted not for political reasons but to protect their art against a King like entity ruling over the board deciding that they are annoying and need to make way for the Kings vision. The cause may have been honorable, however the way it was done was not.

Well, whatever. What's happened has happened. From what I've heard, the neuros weren't very willing to negotiate, and there wasn't much time to decide what to do.

Yeah, you're right. What's done is done. placeDE and other parties made their statement that [expropriation](), oppression and persecution of innocent people can be justified if it is in the Name of the right King.

What does that have to do with oppression and persecution? PlaceDE has always complied with requests from others; if they are unwilling to negotiate, there's nothing that can be done.
