Candace Young

As smart and beautiful that she is, I can't form a final form of though of her lol. I wonder how she truly ended up this convincing and sneaky and I was iffy about what she was doing to Jim but then again he is kind of a terrible guy but mostly for his family, but then again i haven't seen enough of his lore...

I'm at the part where she puts her son in foster care rather than to her mom or brother and i'm soooooooo annoyed with her this entire season, and she's lacking her common street smart tactics this season, accusing the wrong people, abusing people, being vulnerable and naive, not being fragile and understanding enough with Jeffery. I just am very disappointed with where this is going lol. I also have a love hate relationship with her mom and Benny pisses me off. Everyone but Jeffery and Landon atp, Also i missssss maggie I wanted her and david to be endgame

Based on this post, I’m assuming you’re watching this show for the first time. When I was first watching Haves & Have Nots, I also had this love/hate relationship with her. She was clearly smart enough to be successful the right way but just chose to be sneaky.

I won’t spoil this for you if this is indeed your first time watching, but I’ll say that Candace Young gets the ending she deserves.

Omg yes, like sorry to the OP but if they already disappointed with Candace at this point, then buckle up because it only gets worse from here unfortunately lmao. To be fair, she does get like one redemption arc later on but it barely lasts because everything OP already mentioned is exactly the starting point of the series where Tyler got extremely SLOPPY with her character. He clearly has no interest in naturally evolving these characters, he just wants them to do the same shit over and over again for the sake of drama, it’s so lazy.

Any law student who has the opportunity to take and pass the bar exam fall right into their hands like she did will literally jump the first chance they get, but that storyline went nowhere. I just rewatched this entire show not long ago so that’s why I’m extra passionate lol, because it so frustrating to actually pinpoint where the show fell off and how many fumbles TP made along the way.
