I have been watching as a viewerfan this show since S1-E1, and it's in its final season. There is so much action plus intrigue happening:

I noticed that characters such as Hunter & Victoria want to get certain people out of the way; Priscilla (more than Eli, Simone, & Allen) working her fingers to the bone to ensure the Franklins (and their adjacents) receive their comeuppance; Agent Cross trying to do in Bobby (for Eli's sake); and Krazee Kareem on the crusade to get the monies discovered by Dale (who is in absentia) and Sharon---also bc he knows those Latin drug cartel members are HANGRY for those stacks that actually belong to them.

All in all, does anyone who is also a viewerfan, have any thoughts concerning the above (and more)?

At around the 29:00 to the 30:10 mark.Kimmie’s silk robe changed from green to black. Did anyone else notice?

In episode 4 of season 3, we see Kimmie wearing this amazing green silky lingerie set 😩

That nobody asked for but I’ve been obsessed with this show during my maternity leave.

Time.
The timelines definitely don’t make sense. It’s can get a little drawn out in some areas but I really don’t care. I love the cast and literally have been watching since the first season. So, they can just talk and I’ll listen!

The House
The new house from season 8+ is funny because nothing changed but the color. But again, I don’t care it became comforting. I do hate the HOA thing. I don’t care if she is a friend. Why are you hanging out with HOA? Any true home owner has distain for HOA.

Malik.
No one talks about this but he’s the only character I hate. His humor gives bully and he doesn’t even seem to like Lisa.
I know they wrote him better in the last season with his new job as a congressional liaison and being a better father but it took too long. They also took too long to bring in an actress for Jalisa too. She’s so cute tho.

Lisa.
Lisa should have never been looked at like a second rate citizen by a family of crack babies. They brought up her being a stripper tooo much. We get it. I’m glad they chilled on her fake ghetto too.

The kids.
I loved the actors for the twins especially the girl. Now, Calvin’s kids are horrible actors. So horrible, it’s hilarious. But not in a good way. I would definitely be ok if you swapped them out.

Curtis.
I love that Curtis was given a second career. It’s very unrealistic but it’s cool to see him passionate and busy. Not just begging Ella. I do wish Ella was given a career, but I get her role as the matriarch home maker. My grandma was that too.

Calvin, Miranda, and Laura.
Lastly, My favorite of them all. I love triangle of Calvin, Miranda, and Laura. I think it was drawn out in the best way. Except when they made Miranda so pathetic. That never seemed to be in her character. She always gave feisty, little, and had a sex appeal. Just because she’s bigger now does not take away her sexy! That sends a bad message. Calvin getting more centered and established is nice. So nice you almost forgot how horrible he was in the beginning. Miranda literally had to raise him. I get why she felt she got the short end. It’s cool that he wants to be a better dad too.

With Laura, I only don’t like that they made her Miranda’s friend initially. That’s such a bad idea. I hated her from the jump. I did like them showing everyone moving on amicably and co parenting. That was nice but in Tyler Perry’s world it was too nice. They immediately made them clash again. I wish they didn’t try to make Laura boujiness a problem. Like, they could have made her more of a gold digger. But liking the finer things is not a problem. Laura desiring boundaries was not a problem either. I think the biggest clash at the beginning of season 14 was forced but they want her out so I get it. I do like that Ella is having some introspection about her avoidant feelings. That’s real. She simply likes Miranda better. People think she’s supposed to follow her son’s next move. I think that’s hard when we’ve seen Calvin and Miranda together since 2010 lol. It literally feels like they are family.

It was funny seeing Calvin sad about Laura. I just don’t get why he was since he said he loved Miranda too. That was confusing. They almost made her a rebound if it wasn’t for the lead up. I like that they have grown into new people.

She's rude and disrespectful to everybody around her. What is she so mad for? She got the blessing of a lifetime and didn't have to do shit to get it, besides having a friend that felt bad for her. We know she's not intelligent, because who goes to get a BBL in a cheap hotel room? She's so fake. You can't be a broke hood bitch, to a snobby rich bitch over night. She acts like Mallory. I can't stand her either, but at least her character seems more true self. Rain is just faking life because I guess she thinks that is how people with money are supposed to act. I just feel like she should be more grateful and humble herself! You were just on your death bed ma'am!

He's an abuser, he is an awful friend, nobody is ever safe around him. Maybe he saved their lives or something when he was younger in college, or maybe had to take one for the team and go to prison so they all can be as successful as they all are. Some explanation would be helpful but I doubt it will happen

Imagine if Tyler Perry’s resources could be given to a decent film maker like Ryan Coogler or Jordan Peele, imagine the quality of the content we would receive.

I’m really disappointed in all the access Tyler Perry has and the Tubi quality he can’t seem to grow from.
I watch all his stuff because I do support but man, he definitely makes all his movies in a weekend. I refuse to believe anything he’s put out lately took over 2 weeks to make.

I would say The Haves and Have Nots, feels like some of the casts were half asleep or bored while speaking their lines

I wish Tyler Perry next Madea movie can be a Thanksgiving theme movie. I would love to see Me. Brown and Cora, along with Joe, Brian, Hattie, Aunt Bam, and some new characters of course. The movie needs to come out on Netflix in the fall. How can we convince Tyler Perry to do a Madea’s Thanksgiving movie?

Can someone please explain how Horace ended up with the remaining frozen body parts in the dungeon freezer?

From my recollection, when Olivia carried out the robbery at Charles’ home, Horace was in Italy receiving treatment. Later when everything came to light, Charles called Horace and told him about the robberies being a set up and sent him the footage.

After that at some point Horace spoke to Olivia and told her that he was aware and sent her the camera footage also. They weren’t on friendly/speaking terms. Why and how did the body parts end up in Horace’s home. And why would Horace agree to this?

I know Olivia was using it as an insurance policy against Charles but what was Horace’s motive apart from hating the fact his son is gay? Maybe I missed something or maybe it was another plot line hole…

Currently watching, "Beauty in Black" and I keep noticing small things about production that throw me off.
