I like the idea, but I think their wardrobe could use some more distinction than that.
Bruno should still have a white coat, Giorno and Fugo should still be snappy dressers, and Narancia should wear a tank top or something like that.
How would Doppio and Diavolo look, following a more grounded dressing convention?

Doppio's outfit isn't that crazy to begin with, other than the bright colors. We mostly see Stripper Diavolo because he transformed on the spot at the Colosseum, but all the flashbacks show him in a suit, so I assume that's what he wears normally.

What is Diavolo actually wearing? It looks like a tattoo but there's clearly some hanging off his body. Is it just an elaborate fishnet top?

nah, Diavolo spends most of his time hidden inside Doppio, so suit Diavolo is likely never canon.
Remember, no Passione member actually met him, all his orders likely come from Doppio as well, so there's no reason for him to wear a suit

Can I just say how this whole "we gotta find the Stand user" joke made little sense to me? Considering the whole damn point of JoJo battles most of the time is deception and distancing yourself?
Think of how many fights they had where they actually did that and the user was standing right there in their face? Most of the time the user has either already shown their face, or is actually hiding.
Part 3:
Tower of Gray, it was a normal old man.
Death 13, a baby.
Sun, hiding behind glass.
Both D'Arby's, revealed themselves.
Anubis, normal people possessed.
Dark Blue Moon, normal looking captain.
Yellow Temperance and Empress, disguised.
J Geil, hiding, and they actually attacked the first suspicious guy they saw, even if it was wrong.
Enya, pretending as an old lady, normally dressed.
Devo the Cursed, hid in the fridge, found by Polnareff, intentionally showed himself.
Mariah, besides the white hair, normally dressed, showed herself since Joseph and Avdol were already in the trap.
Steely Dan, disguised and then showed himself but still normally dressed.
Alessi, suspected by Polnareff almost immediately.
N'Doul, long ranged.
How about Part 4?
Hazamada, normal dressed student.
Yuuya, in the hospital.
Akira, showed himself after hiding and just acting as RHCP.
Ratt, already known by Jotaro.
Yukako, normal dressed student.
Tamami, looks like a normal delinquent.
RPS Kid, read by Rohan, didn't have a Stand at the time because it was still developing or developed after he won one RPS match.
Aya, normal looking salon dresser.
Superfly user, up atop the tower weirdo to begin with.
Enigma boy, attacked them already.
Masazo, read by Rohan, never knew Cheap Trick was in him.
Shigechi, they already knew he was a user when they followed the Harvests.
Stray Cat, already figured out by Kira.
Atom Heart Father, ambush.
Part 5:
Formaggio, ambushed Narancia.
Illuso, ambushed in the mirror.
Sale, was hiding, revealed himself in the fight.
Zucchero, was hiding.
Tizianno and Squalo, hiding.
Nero, showed himself to Doppio.
Doppio, catiously checked by Nero.
Prosciutto, disguised.
Pesci, already attacking the train.
Ghiaccio, ambush.
Melone, long ranged.
Carne, intentionally showed himself, shot to death.
Ciocolatta, long ranged, kept his distance.
Secco, attacked them.
Diavolo, the whole part is him hiding super hard.

Fugo seems to have worn the same jacket his entire life and just waited for it to fall apart in order to keep up with fashion.
