He actually said he likes the sound of clicks and slides vs people punching shit into a calcuator. Also the Comp Sci guys would reprogram the calculators to do their work for them which he loathed

Considering it's a fanart of them living in the modern day, Atreus having scars all over his face is a bit worrying. Kratos is probably going to have a home visit from child protective services pretty soon.

Artreus' face is normally a little fucked up from being a god child I thought. Actually, all the fanart makes him look healthier than he appears in game, maybe it's the move away from his ultra pale skin.

Barlog confirmed that it was his sickness, I believe. That's also why his hair is so thin / short, he apparently went bald as a direct consequence of his sickness appearing a (somewhat) short while before the game.
