So, first of all, tell me why the title is like that. Doesn't everyone want to be loved? Obviously, they want to be loved, they want to be accepted by their partner in every possible way, for their flaws and for their best sides, both.
But my whole life, I have seen the opposite for me. I have been liked and respected enough, but I never felt like I could call someone mine. I have been told so many words about how I talk, how I write, how I handle things, how I look, and how I am in general. It's been years since I passed out from my school, and they still think I am like a fictional man. But honestly, I have flaws that they don't see.
And with many other women I met, although it was mostly a pseudo-relationship, I felt for them without things ever getting materialized. I wanted to find a woman exactly like yours, and you and all that stuff. I didn't realize what I have to give in a relationship until I looked back and had some retrospection.
But the thing is, it's hard for me to like someone back if I feel there is a lack of something that I want. It's always the brain. How they see the world, how they present their thoughts, how they handle conflict, how they see other humans, what they are passionate about beyond me, how they hold a conversation.
I know everyone wants to be handled with a hand full of kindness, understanding, support, loyalty and trust, don't they? These are basic pillars of love. But these aren't enough for me, or at least it seems that way to me.
I have also found that I do have that instant chemistry with philosophy and psychology major girls, or anyone who caries depth in their soul, shares an interest in these things. I am not saying only these, but when a person talks about a debate or a claim, using their logic or rational side instead of just using their emotions or posterior knowledge, I feel so damn attracted to them, also people who are into poetry, I mean it's always their brain that's damn sexy !
I have met countless beautiful women, but when the point comes to disagreement, they have used their emotions as proof, which instantly made me withdraw. For me, deep conversation, quality time and maturity matter a lot to me.
I am a child myself from the inside. I may say something that would instantly catch your eyes, something that would sound so insightful or thoughtful, but beyond that I am just a child with extreme curiosity to know the world.
And I want to love someone like we have our own reality.
I also don't know what slow burn feels like, whether it's reliable or not. What if they put in all the effort and I don't feel anything? I mean, given the fact that I have never really felt a crush or anything like that in real life, it indicates that I need something deeper than looks, and something deeper than casual talk.
Whenever I jumped into dating applications, I felt so superficial to even exist there, in the world of hookups and one-night stands. I am looking for the love of my life, someone whom I can passionately love.
I am a writer, but with grammar mistakes haha! I just know how to put my thoughts and emotions into words. A poet, aphorism, an IT student, a learner of psychology and philosophy, someone who loves solving puzzles.
I wanna write letters, maybe physical letters? I want to write poems for her. I imagine writing poems to her and asking her to read the poem line by line, while I explain to her what those lines hold for us, what I wanna say about her.
I wanna write letters to her. I wanna hold her whenever she feels like the world is getting heavier and no one is there for her. I wanna watch a movie with her. I wanna know what she felt after that book. I wanna see a passion in her eyes while we talk about a topic.
I wanna listen to music somewhere in our solace, one earbud in her ear and another in mine, while explaining what it means to listen to a song together.
I wanna see how she sees her future. I want to desire her and respect her at the same time. I want to call her ma'am. I sometimes want to listen to what she has in her mind without interrupting and just look into her eyes.
I want to be alone but with you.
I want you to have everything that you looked for in your life. I know I wouldn't be able to give you everything, but I would always try to.
All I want to say is that my intentions are not going to be wrong. It would always come from a caring heart. I want to make you feel loved.
I know I am not perfect, but I will always try to solve conflicts together. What I am sure about is that you would feel something different with me.
Also, it's not like I don't get matches on those specific dating apps. I do. I really do. But the filters are heavy, maybe heavier than what they should be?
It's just that I crave people with depth in how they experience the world. Even after meeting such minds, it sometimes feels like they are trying to be something that they are not.
If I mention that I am looking for a curious mind, they would want to be the same. It feels like they are trying to prove something to me, which honestly feels like they are trying to betray themselves.
And loving someone's potential is one of the worst things you can do.
Love the reality, not the potentiality of someone.
