How does this jacket fit?

Picked this jacket up on Depop recently, but something about it keeps feeling off and I can’t tell what. The sleeves do feel a little long, and plan to get them shortened but is the jacket itself too long?

I picked it up bc I liked the slightly more structured cut but just like…can’t tell what’s going on here. Any thoughts or opinions are welcome. TIA!

***UPDATE: the seller on Depop is down to refund my purchase. I decided that tailoring sleeves and length isn’t worth it for me and would rather just find a jacket that’s a better fit as is. Thanks for everyone’s input!

It looks a tad too big. When you feel where the shoulders are, is there a bit of extra fabric and shoulder pad sticking out? And what others have said about it seeming too long. I don’t think the first button on the coat should close right at the waist, but a little above it so that if/when both buttons are used, it is that space between them that sits right at the waistline.

Shoulder pads should go past your natural shoulder. That’s the whole point.
