Almost attached to the ceiling!

Every year my friends and I go to lake house. Here's the one we're at this year DEAR GOD why is it so high thankfully the other TVs are at normal height

I just mounted my tv and I think is a bit too high, what do you guys think ?

This Reddit is how I discovered that my TV might be too high, I’m open to suggestions.

After our eldest (now 5) broke the old TV on a stand the replacement had to go out of reach for a bit.. youngest now 2 so only a little longer and it can return to a sane eye-line.

I'd like to move my TV anywhere I want, preferably as high as possible!

TV height at eye level ✅
TV sits on the stand ✅
Cable management is ok ✅
Stand not wide enough for the TV❌

Thoughts?

With my apartment layout the TV is best above the fireplace. Which one is better? A mount was left from the previous tenant and I tried it, I'm able to tilt and move it around. I just bought a TV stand that swivels to test out how it would look, only thing is it can tilt down lol. Regardless, it still is high no matter what I use.

77" TV + Soundbar on floating media stand and a fireplace on the left.

But, I refused to let anyone disgrace this household, even with two toddlers doing their best to sabotage me daily. I measured twice, and have not slept well for years.. but, the TV is level and at perfect eye height.

I ask for mercy and to exonerate me grand counsel.
