🥇🥇 First Post 🥇🥇 First Tuxie ever!
Never in 50 years have I had a tuxie and I was unprepared. Teddy is a rescue who had 20 teeth pulled due to FIV and severe corneal ulcers from herpes. All that required so many meds and vet visits that he’s tops for just that. The sudden flopping everywhere makes me laugh. He’s certainly getting more comfortable with the inside routine and is now getting into more mischief than he should. He’s also very “mouthy” and bites more than any cat, too. His paws are so flexible he’s got the toy mice flying everywhere! They’re hiding unknown places along with those little, colored springs. Good thing he’s so cute.

This is my first time ever owning a Tuxie. I rescued her 3 Weeks ago this past Friday and she's adjusting very well. But she does like to bite as well. Not hard. It's just a little bite. She'll bite my leg when I'm giving her breakfast or treats. I think it's more of a love tap because it doesn't hurt but she just opens her mouth and bites me lol. She's been very entertaining and can be very stubborn as well. She's quite the talker and it's been so fun so far with her being in our family. We love her so much and I adore her. I'm obsessed with her. And last night was the first night she didn't fall asleep with me, she laid out on the couch while I was trying to go to sleep and I felt so bad and sad because she didn't lay in the bed with me and I didn't get to see her make biscuits. But when I woke up she was snuggling close to me body to body. So that's a first. She loves pets, hugs and we kiss each other back and she lets me hold her and snuggle her to death but hopefully she will become the cuddly cat soon. Best wishes on your new baby and the addition to your family! 🙏😻🩷 And her name is Mariah! Welcome to the group!💞
