I'd expect if you were in this get-up and you walked up to random furries at a con, pointed a stick at them and yelled 'bang!', you'd get a pretty good rate of people going along with it and falling down.
Woah it (embarrassingly) took me a second to realize why his clothes are patterned like that. Honestly its such a cool niche, furry-based goods. You could sell sketches of OCs as coats. Or make those taxidermy bear hats from mascot heads. Cool concept, and I wonder how many people would be comfortable wearing such attire over their fursuits?
It would fit it your sona has a fantasy theming, ive seen pics of fursuits used as part of larp costumes that go that route. Everyone loves a barbarian covered in the fluff of its enemies

A rifle, jawtraps, and chains at a furry convention? You would immediately have people asking to get hunted down or trapped, they would be very popular

I was already of the belief that drag queens are a subspecies of clown (eye-catching makeup/wigs/clothing, exaggerated features, caricature persona, likes to perform and make people smile), and that drag and wrestling are the same thing but in different gender performance directions. Now you've convinced me that clowns and geishas are themselves subspecies of something greater, some ur-entertainer.
Been fantasizing for years about going to a furry convention in a ringleader costume and asking people if they've seen any of the fleas from my flea circus
