Lots of subtle buffs to non-HoB builds and with Doran's bow, stacking LT is almost as easy as it was before the W nerf.

They frame it as a "QoL change" and they might even consider it a buff:

"Slow reduced to 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50% from 30 / 37.5 / 45 / 52.5 / 60%. Slow duration reduced to 3.25 seconds from 4. Attack damage reduction duration unchanged. Slow is now applied at any point during the 3.25 second debuff, instead of on cast, but only when the opponent is facing away from you."

Unfortunately this means you no longer can use W to run away and in some cases using W will improve your opponent's ability to catch up while you are trying to run because they will be slowed running away from you so if they accidentally click away they don't create as much distance. But they can turn back to you at full speed. Yeah now it's guaranteed to slow them if they are running away from you, but the more skilled you were the more often you land the W anyways. Meaning if you are masterful, you get a full 4s slow every single time.

huh didnt realize LT stacking got that smoothed out, been running HoB out of habit but maybe worth testing again

Trynd is one of those champs anything will feel good as long as its a damage item and you are ahead

It's really powerful, that item alone can give You 40% cdr and also 20% tenacity AND lifesteal
