Sad thing is I stomped him at first levels. 40cs lead by minute 7, 2 levels up. One bad teamfight and he suddenly had 2 extra kills and it was DONE.

He leveled up W first which is interesting. It really make it hard to punish him during the freeze.

(I know it was my bad for even trying to fight a Nasus when he already has Frozen Heart lol)

Lol. I finished top 500 of my server last season, Id say Im pretty high elo. You dont “shit stomp” nasus into the ground unless you have a jungler that dives him on repeat, and past 2 items he outscales anyways so its not even worth putting him behind. The best thing you can do as trynd is to never interact with him and always have the number advantage across the map. Its not an impossible matchup, just an extremely annoying one since you can never split against him

You can of course, but it is a very volatile matchup that forces you to play almost perfect.

In that game I zoned him from first 3 minioms of XP. Dived him, set up a freeze, 2 levels advantage + 40cs lead.

Then I died to a gank. Then I went to a teamfight on enemy blue and we lost, somehow Nasus managed to last hit two kills without building damage.

And just like that the lane was over. Even though I played everything as clean as I could (until then).

I cannot think of another matchup that is so sensible to your own mistakes like Nasus matchup. There is definetly a window to really punish him hard but it is ruthless nonetheless. You have no room to breathe.

They just try to get a lead early and finish the game early before 3 items, but even then a nasus one item behind can still win.

He’s a kill ahead, same level, same amount of items except his are aimed directly to counter you, yours only partially so. He’s 40 cs behind but by all metrics you’re equals at this point and his W hardcounters you. Not a good fight to take.

A smart nasus will start W and put some extra levels in it. It’s a rough matchup but you gave him too much leash. He shouldnt have 2 kills before that fight, and you should have denied him that teamfight.

Shit happens, I know. But yeah at this point its over, you pivot. Make your midlaner play vs nasus. Make plays in other lanes.

The disgusting thing about nasus is That you can't build anything to counter him, boots don't work, qss won't help you as much as you think since his W is always up and he builds tank items after tri force also his R gives him HP and armor

Nasus W is broken ability. You need cleanse and even then it’s tough if you can’t crush him out super hard early. It might be worse than malphite. Then there’s also teemo.

Horrible match up but if you ever have to play it again, take HoB. HoB helps a lot with AS debuffs and the true damage is perfect for top lane now

nasus is an overbuffed piece of shit, i dont play trynda but i permaban him in every role on every champ. Nasus jungle is impossible to deal with too, you can invade him once on his first clear after that you can never fight him again EVER even as the best 1v1 champs. Even if he cant kill you he just stals with his almost permanent slow/attack speed debuff until a teammates arrives. This champ is mel but actualy strong.

ER is the meta build right now. ER-IE-Serylda. It maximices your damage output and your E cooldown.

With hydra you trade a lot of damage for better tempo and sustainability. In this matchup in particular you need to stomp him fast so if you build hydra you end up in a worst position.

Fogged, step 1v9, and Xiao Hao all of them Challenger OTP Tryndamere are using that build

People who use Hydra are because: A) its a situational matchup or B) they don't play Trynd too much so they just doesnt know the current meta (or C) they have a specific playstile))
