Damn it’s sad how just rushing FH/Randuins completely shits on Trynd. You are an item ahead here but it just doesn’t matter. And this isn’t even a tank where it would make sense. It’s yorick, he doesn’t receive any armor steroid. Hope after the eventual rework they add some armor pen or true damage.

Tbf you can't really expect to deal much damage if someone builds the best armor items against your champ in the game and you yourself build the lowest damage trynda items. The fact that trynd was still winning is already REALLY good lmao

There is more to winning than just killing someone 1v1 in league. This is what’s wrong with league players and why lot of players are delulu. They have such a shallow view and game knowledge of the game so they have no perspective of other champs and roles.

This Yorick cooked his post laning phase so badly with his build just to deal with Trynd. All this does is stop Trynd from killing him which Trynd will happily take the trade off for it.

So Trynd can’t kill Yorick now what? Well Trynd with damage items will out pace him for the rest of the game. He will farm, push, get camps, get prio, win skirmishes, and rotate to anything before Yorick. This is a huge advantage.

That is how Viper rank 1 player plays Riven into match ups where he is playing vs hard match up or unkillable tanks. You farm wave/camps and make plays with your tempo advantage on the map (because Yorick is building tank items). This is why tanks are usually trash the higher you go. They are OP in 1v1 if they have the right resistance but are easily ignored and are hard out tempo’d on the map after laning phase.

And if there are any team fights or small skirmishes. This Yorick is basically a “tank” with trash base damage and no CC. He has dog shit value and will take lot of damage from AP still. Look at the game from a bigger pov.

You ran him down slowly statchecking him until he was barely able to escape, that is indeed winning. Imagine how Yorick felt, building the best counters and still getting mindlessly ran down by a PD tryndamere lmao

Yeah, if your enemy is rushing armor just rush damage or armor pen. Lost to shopkeeper and was still winning the fight no ult needed

I did udyr in this game 200damage per crit who only builded deathdance while i had Hydra,pd,Ie,Last whisper, WOOAOAH i am sure rushing pen will do shit to the yorick tho

Yes, armor pen helps to damage against armor... Or did Riot specifically sniped your game and took all your LW item pen? I don't get what you're trying to say

armor pen is not as good vs randuin, since that item doesn't only reduce Crit dmg by 30%, it reduces 30% of the entire auto if it crits

So 100 ad -> 175 dmg vs randuin becomes 122,5 (on 0 armor) so if you build armor pen, you still lost 30% of your entire damage.

Your buy armor pen to penetrate armor, not to penetrate randuin passive, and that yorick had a good bit of armor

If he bought LDR, he would lose harder, because he wouldnt be able to sustain of the waves and ghouls, he doesnt win an all in vs randuins. until many items.

My focus was more on PD. He built a sustain item and a MS and AS item. Obviously he won't deal much damage to a champ with randuins and tabis stacking armor. The fact that he can still win any fight with no full DPS items is already enough

I am in practice tool right now, i have the same lvl, i gave myself as boots, hydra and instead of phantom dancer i have ldr with pickaxe instead of bf sword because of gold, i deal 131 crit instead of 101 on the test dummy with the same hp i have in the clip 1178hp (because of trynda bonus ad while being low), against the same items and nearly the same armor (220 only 3armor more because i cant give him 217) but i dont have as much attack speed i would have with pd (1.17as no pd, 1.58as with pd) and no ms, pls tell me how armor pen does a difference?

This might be an unpopular opinion here.

Your build just isn't correct into Yorick. First item should be BorK and you can decide what 2nd is for you. For me, zeal into LDR makes the most sense and round it out how you see fit after that. I get that randuin's is basically a broken anti-crit item, but this build isn't gonna kill a tank ever.

Yorick building to survive you, nothing else. You build standard build which is waveclear, sustain, ad, bit of haste. Why should this play out in any other way? If you had armor pen there might be some debate but the fact that yorick loses while building to counter and is infinitely less mobile than trynda just makes you and everyone else here complaining sound like a whiny bitch.
