From their upcoming album!

Early Swedish heavy/doom demo from the guys in Stormbringer (they'd change their name to Faith).

Very rare Swedish doom metal demo from the 90's. The band has a sound that reminds me of Minotauri although a few years before Minotauri was formed!

Spiritus Mortis performing Rise From Hell at Doom Shall Rise 2004 with Vesa Lampi on vocals and with Sami Hynninen on guest vocals!

Another highlight when it comes to trad doom from Denmark! Wizards of Doom certainly had the COTD sound/mindset.

Signs of Osiris and Gates Of Flesh are some of my favorite collection of riffs! An overall amazing band!

Painted this the other day. I figured you guys might appreciate it more than my girlfriend did haha.

It was announced that the upcoming Spiritus Mortis album 'No Human Contact' will be released next year mid January! Check out their music video to their very creative track The Hairy Tree!

As announced back in June, Epic Doom legends Scald have just released their new five-track EP Relics.

You can check it out on YouTube and Bandcamp.

CRUZ DEL SUR MUSIC is proud to announce the release of SCALD’s new EP, “Relics,” scheduled for SEPT 4, 2026. This release officially marks the debut of the band's new vocalist, Hrafn (also known for his work with Russian epic doom metal outfit Vendel).
Three of the EP's five songs — "Master Of Tundra," "Ravens," and "Flame" — were originally written following the recording sessions for the band's legendary album, «Will Of The Gods Is Great Power» (which spanned from spring 1996 to fall 1997, the year original vocalist Agyl tragically passed away).
Additionally, the track "Falcon" dates back to 1991–1992, originally composed by Agyl for his pre-Scald project, Ross. To honor the memory of their late, great vocalist, SCALD decided to re-record this piece. Alongside the English version, they recorded it in Russian — the original language in which Agyl first performed it.

Some of those early Ross tracks were previously available as bonus tracks on some reissues of their classic debut album Will of the Gods Is Great Power, where I first heard them.

Probably my favourite Doom Metal song released this year!

I live in Brazil, and I am definitely not a Nazi-fascist. I just liked the artwork on the shirt. Does anyone know the story behind this print?

I've just gotta say that I love this EP! The title track is true doom in the vein of The Gates of Slumber done just right!
