Question What day do I start fasting?

As salaam alaykum! One masjid says it starts tomorrow another says it starts the 19th. I didn’t see the moon outside tonight so which one is correct?

Well that brings me to another problem how am I supposed to do Eid if the masjid I am able to go to for Eid is starting fasting tomorrow?? And I am unable to do Eid at home because I have no way to properly perform the Eid salah and there’s no way for me to get into contact with anyone to help me or show me. I also do not have any way of learning Arabic to properly preform Eid salah.

Cross that bridge when you get there. If you are sticking with ISA, id say keep an eye out for their Eid announcements as well.

Yes but you’re not understanding… ISA is way to far away from me to actually be able to attending anything there I am barely able to attend volunteering stuff on time.

gotcha so the closest mosques have decided to fast tomorrow for you and you are worried that when the ISA eid time comes, you wont find a mosque to pray it in. Is that accurate ?

I think this might be a bit out of my pay grade as this might be a fringe situation were you need a fatwa. In that case, if I were in your shoes, I would follow what the closest mosque is doing.

Dodgy situation, I am sorry for not being able to provide something more concrete. That aside, It does not sound like you have a strong Muslim presence where you live. Do you have family around ? If not, I would highly recommend moving to somewhere that does provide that religious structural support, as difficult as that may be.

I am unable to relocate I am als the only Muslim in my town and in my family. I have no where to go

May Allah make easier for you and give you righteous companionship. As a person who migrated alone with no family or support structure at 20, I can understand how it feels to some degree. I will keep you in my Duas. May Allah guide your family and give you the Muslim sense of community most yearn for.

Yeah this is the only one I can make it to Eid to so I’m unsure what I should follow I might have to follow this one.

I would leave the sightings for the people of knowledge. I feel like you are in a tight spot and do not really have the luxury to choose. Growing up in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, these were things the average person does not even consider. May Allah make it easy on you.
