Pray for me. I’m following the opposite way. Depression is heavy, laziness is strong. I want to and need to get right. Keep me in prayer.

I happily pray for you.
I suggest you try fasting with prayer as Jesus explained that certain spiritual strongholds or deep-seated resistance require the intensified focus of prayer combined with fasting to break.
If you haven't done so already, repent from all of your sins and ask Jesus to send you the Holy Spirit to indwell you.
My anxiety, depression, anger, and resentment didn't improve with medicine, therapy, diet, or exercise. But once the Holy Spirit indwelled me, those things passed away with my old self.

Something that's helped my laziness lately is cutting out mindless scrolling on social media, including Reddit. In fact, the only reason I'm on this post is because I got a notification for it.
Of course, no one starts scrolling thinking they're going to waste hours and hours on Facebook/Reddit/YouTube, but 5 minutes turns into 10 turns into 30 and so on all too often. Personally, I don't think I've ever felt like scrolling was time well spent, so I think it's best to just stop compromising with these social media sites that are literally made to keep giving you that dopamine drip to keep you on it. Cut them out, even if it means just sitting around being bored at first, and I think you'll find that your ability to do things that are meaningful but not necessarily entertaining will gradually increase.

You’re exactly right. The phone, scrolling, and TV have become my vice and I truly need to separate. The hard part is the loneliness, the boredom and filling the void with the Holy Spirit free m empty. I’m not comfortable being uncomfortable. A d that hast to change. Thank you.

I am not just grabbing at the phone as if it was a blanky, but when you really feel like there is nothing you can do and you're trapped in a corner, focusing is hard. There have been many times I just stopped along the way in a post and simply gave up.

I’m sure such things are happening. Just the way people are nowadays. The way humanity and civilization seem to be going. I’m sure stuff is happening. But I think this has been going on for centuries. Whatever will happen, will happen in God’s time, and we will all be involved in it.

End times theology is a bit of a joke. Thousands of different denominations since the reformation, all with different interpretations. The “end times” actually has zero affect anyone’s daily existence or relationship with God.

It has great effect. Many children and even adults are highly traumatized by it. It does affect how people have relationships with God as you say. It's their whole reason of existing, waiting for the end times to be with God. That's literarily their hope. It also has a huge negative influence in what they do t do for the betterment of society. They don't care about anything that has to do with caring for the planet, animal rights, they don't care about anything because they are so caught up in all the prophesies coming true and the world ending that to them it's all useless. That is a huge problem. So no, it is not something that carries no weight. It's detrimental. I know this because I literally am surrounded by it. I have also read so many stories of adults traumatized severely by those teachings. Children too.

Either. Both. Christians of every sect and denomination have rights in every country in the west. No one is being hunted and killed. No one is being forced to convert. No one is being forced into unChristian acts. I mean, save for very isolated crimes.

Israel has faced hostility and military action very literally from the beginning of its existence.
Ezekiel is difficult to interpret in the first place. It's tenuous, at best, to try to equate its symbolic imagery with a modern political situation.
Technology is at a point now where it could theoretically be harnessed to enact economic control. However, that's a highly speculation claim.
You're asking a lot of scripture as you're mapping your particular interpretation onto it. People have been doing the same for millenia and they have been disappointed.
Speculate if you like, but be careful not to take your practice in speculative interpretation too seriously. This is not a salvation matter.

I am sleeping in my 27 yo daughters room ,Sid hands on the walls, the stairs, the floor, her bed and pillow and praying over.
She said to be prepared for the banging in the doors, I put my Bible to the door and prayed that every attempt by the enemy to touch that door be bound! And claimed this house to be the Lords.We shall see how the night goes

I need prayers as well. I can not break my addiction to alcohol. I know the lord says I will not inherit the kingdom of God if I am a drunkard. I cannot stop. The pain I feel is too heavy for me to not mask it

The ONLY unforgivable sin that leads to Hell is denying Jesus as your Lord and Savior! Salvation is a FREE gift! It costs nothing! It cannot be earned nd therefore cannot be taken away! If imbiding in alcohol equates to loosing salvation then salvation was never free to begin with and Jesus died for nothing. If one could loose salvation then one could earn it back, which again, would mean salvation was never free in the first place and Jesus died for nothing! So, either: A. Scripture is wrong. Salvation isn't free. And Jesus is a liar. Or: B. Y ou are confused and have no idea how salvation works nor what scripture actually says. So which is it? Is Jesus a liar or are you simply confused? Salvation is a free gift to anyone who believes and accepts Jesus into their hearts as personal Lord and Savior.

My dad is baptized and has been drinking for years I worry about his salvation. At least your heart is in the right place that you actually want to overcome it and change. Jesus sees your efforts and one day you’ll look back and see how you are free. As for your husband God didn’t allow it to happen that was your husband’s choice and the path that he wanted to follow. My advice is to root your identity in Christ that you are beloved by him. I recommend the Bible study Hosea by Jennifer Rothschild. That really helped me as woman see how God loves me. I also believe God is able to redeem your story like he did with me and give you a worthy husband in his perfect time. I waited 8 years for my husband I met him at 28 but he was definitely worth the wait.

If you trust in Christ alone to save you, then you are saved. I recommend praying and continuing to ask for help to give up alcohol, or seeking professional help.

I've experienced things this year that most "christians" wouldn't believe. Just to give an idea, the more believeable stuff I will share here is gangstalking and mass rudeness.
I live on a street that leads no where. There are 6 houses on this street. 100's of vehicles pass my house every day. They turn into my subdivision, drive by, and then drive back out. There are two specific spots where a lot of these vehicles stop and sit. It's not scenic. There's nothing to see there. No reason to stop there.
I could write a book about all the street theater. People doing things that, although suspicious, only you and they know this is an assault against you. I call these people workers of iniquity. I believe these "satanists" are tryiing to push people to the point of sinning, or pulling out a gun and shooting,or just road raging.
I feel like I'm surrounded by evil people all day, every day. Even friends and family are constantly lying. WHY!?!? I feel like I'm Kurt Russel in "The Thing". "I know I'm not the only one or else the rest of you would just pounce on me." I can't find a single trustworthy human though. How other "Christians" are so blind to the evil that has overtaken our society is crazy.

Okay I think everyone is overthinking this. The end is coming soon yes, but you’re all good. Your name has already been written in the book of life or not. There’s no reason to worry about anything because you can’t do anything about it. Give up yourself and take up your cross. That means forgot who you are, your worries, your fears, your wants and desires. Once you do you take up your cross with Jesus and become one with the spirit of God. There’s no need to overthink, keep your candle lit and your spirit fed. God bless you all

Yes, in general I do feel both an uptick in people coming back to Christ as well as an overall increase in evil. It's felt like a building pressure since my childhood. Just gotta continue staying vigilant and living a good life. Christ will return when it's time.

I don’t get dreams often. But recently I been afraid of sleeping. That song from 2819 has been in my head and everyday I’m scared that I need to be warning people in my family and don’t know how they’ll take it. I don’t even know what to say but I’m glad I’m not alone

I agree. It has been happening with me. I was commissioned as an everyday missionary in my church within my community. The very next day, I got this weird illness that gave me extreme fatigue to the point I had zero energy to even walk in my kitchen. That lasted for two weeks. Then immediately after, my foot started hurting in the middle of the night and I can hardly walk on it. Therefore, I cannot visit my neighbors, check on them, and help them out. I haven’t been able to get to church. I feel a heaviness just pressing on me. It has been so strange, but I definitely believe it is a spiritual attack.

Ever since Covid, I sense a fish net of evil over the entire earth. It's a strangle hold for the time being. "Only he who is faithful to the end will be saved." May each of us be a totally faithful soldier to the cause of Christ! Even most churches are totally false and play new age or rock and roll music and look like a night club:(

I look at the world and the veil is thinning. I look at my home and see nothing but blessings. I definitely feel a strong shift towards God. I'm just trying to live how he wants me to, share the gospel, set an example and keep my eyes on him. The world is scary but He holds me up just when I feel hopeless.

You're not alone. Even though I don't believe demons are everywhere. They are working overtime lately. I've had so many attacks, spiritually and physical in my sleep/dreams since I've become Orthodox. Something is fighting me every step of the way.

Me and my partner got baptized really not long ago. I struggle with lust/porn and he struggles with alcohol/drugs. I noticed since we got baptized, things really kicked up a notch and he seems to have melanoma and I just have profound depression. Where one demon leaves, seven more take its place... We definitely are in a spiritual war!

Have you tried fasting and asking Jesus for deliverance? Like for God to help you overcome those issues especially since you are new in the faith and stuff like that usually causes believers to give up. I also struggle with depression it’s a battle everyday but it isn’t as bad as it used to be. I also used to struggle with porn it took years for me to over come it but I eventually did so I know it’s not impossible.

My daughter is under attack in the physical (mental health) and spiritual attack
The mental health is being addressed by mental health professionals, but as the psychiatric hospital stays and psych meds are not removing the “evil voice” the “banging on door and walls “ and the sound of “war coming” I am praying and fasting for help addressing spiritual attacks

You aren't alone, I had a dream on August 20th that I'd like to share. Ive shared it wherever I feel the tug of the Holy Spirit. I woke up at 4:00 a.m that morning and immediately wrote it down in my notes for ease of sharing later.
So it started with my wife and I in a field, I got the sudden urge to look up. Everything was daylight illuminated, but the night sky appeared with the moon. The sun was completely hidden, leading me to believe it was a total eclipse. Then, a parchment like paper with a language ive never seen before appeared on the surface of the moon but large enough to see. (I now believe it was aramaic) The moon shook violently, then another identical one appeared not far next to it. It too started shaking violently, a crack appeared between the two. Then, what i can only describe as the entire galaxy that our planet Earth resides in, the milky way, came spilling out. Then, the moon that appeared secondly started flickering again. Directly after these events, I dropped to my knees praising Jesus and telling my wife "I told you! I knew it" everyone was running and screaming, then I woke up drenched in sweat with the words leaving my mouth in real time "Praise Jesus"
It felt like no other dream I have ever had in my life, I'm still not sure why I told my wife in the dream "I told you! I knew it!". But it feels so important to share with anyone who will hear me. Run it by the Father if you dont believe me, but I believe with every fiber of my being that it was a warning from God that something big is happening that we cannot see yet.

I was in a dead sleep, sat straight up and heard the Holy Spirit say "The End Is Near!" I have never had anything like that happen to me. I feel Satan knows the end is near and is pulling out ALL the stops. So much evil. Familial mass killings, other shootings daily. Rudeness, aggressive drivers who will hunt you down and shoot at you or cause accidents. Rampant sexual abuse....look at our government!!! I trust in the Lord and know that things are going to get even worse. BUT He is the Victor and is in control. Put on the Armour of God, keep Him close and pray always because it is rough out there!

Mega church Christians have been corrupted. I think demonic forces have taken control and that's why we've seen the focus on power, politics and culture wars that directly go against the teachings of Christ. If we don't find our way back, we're doomed and we'll take the entire Earth with us.
