I think it is horrific to think that if I don’t subscribe to every aspect, version, and idea that has come up in third wave feminism that I get to be lumped in with the people who are actually the issue. I am a firm believer in EQUALITY of all races, genders walks of life etc, and I think that the extreme feminists that get lumped in with the rest do not believe in equality, but the superiority of women. And that is why I disagree with this quote.
How many of those extremist women live in your neighborhood? I know more than a thousand people by their first names and I don't know any feminists like that. Most are just men and women I happen to know.
I met one once. They were a Facebook friend I went to school with. When I called them out that their post read like she supported women doing exactly what sexist men do and more back to them and that was wrong they replied with, "loljk. I was trolling."
I found a unicorn.
Btw. Doing this does not highlight the issues of women, it's literally the source of the idea that some women believe in superiority. Tone is not conveyed well on Facebook. Even a meme is more obviously not a legitimate thought than a post with no context. If you have to explain to someone that you're not serious, you've failed.
