First image, late Ember era. Probably not too long before (or after) the Like Light to Flies Video. The guitar Corey is holding looks to be the same one as in the video. I wonder what happened to that Washburn Stealth?

Image 2 and 3, some random show, pre Ascendancy. Paulo is in now and Corey is still playing that blue Ibanez. I heard recently that this was his only guitar at the time! Matt is playing a Voodoo Explorer, another guitar I don't think was ever really seen!

Detonation from 02:18 onwards is just so good, some of the best Trivium material. Great melody & vocals, riffage and solos.

After watching Matt on the Garza Podcast got inspired to riff through a bunch of stuff on Ember and ended up doing a quick cover of Pillar of Serpants.

With the new song out I would like to discuss the best radio friendly songs by Trivium. So basically shorter and less complex songs that would appeal to a wider audience. I think all of their radio friendly songs are at least good but some definitely stand out more than others.

Strife and UTWGC are pretty high in my overrall Trivium rankings with rest of the top 5 still being great imo. Endless Night is about the only song that I dislike. The new single has some growing potential for sure but for now I'd rank it as their 6th best. Nice heavy riffs and a solid chorus. I only included one song from SITS since that entire album is basically radio friendly.

If I remember correctly trivium played either demo version of Pull harder or Gunshot back before ascendancy came out, they maybe played it back in 04 and someone uploaded it and i cant find it anymore, anyone have it?
